Cozy Cate

F1 standard traditional tri colored Bernedoodles loading! Cozy and Boone have successfully bred which means we are planning on a mid August delivery with a mid October "Go Home Date."

Cozy is our keeper puppy from Ivy and Boone's "Salt City Eats" AKC Bernese Mountain Dog litter. We are beyond excited to have our 2nd ever 2nd generation of KBD puppies in just under 2 months! These babies are bound to be perfection.

This will be our ONLY F1 standard litter for the next year as we shift our program to more mini and medium sized focused. Do NOT wait for this litter to arrive before reserving a spot. Every family that decides to "wait" regrets not getting on our list sooner.

KBD Planned Litters for 2026-2027

Here is our updated official line up for our micro/mini Bernedoodle, standard Bernedoodle, and ultra medium Bernedoodle litters planned to arrive with "Go Home Dates" starting this Fall through Spring of 2027.

Each mini pair has the possibility of producing both red and tri colored Bernedoodles. All puppies will be FF (low to almost non shed), -/- or -/+ coat (straight or wavy coat), SS or Ssp (all traditional tri colored or red with white markings), genetically clear or one copy of DM (Primrose), high percentage of Bernese, and all will be multigenerational mini Bernedoodles.

Our medium ultra pairs will be all traditional tri colored Bernedoodles. All puppies will be Ff (low to almost non shed), -/- straight coat SS (all traditional tri colored markings), genetically clear or one copy of DM (Indy), and all will have around 70% Bernese genetic makeup.

Our F1 standard litter will be all traditional tri colored puppies with -/- straight coats, Ff (low to almost non shed), genetically clear, and second generation KBD puppies! Our 2nd generation KBD litters tend to have most incredible temperaments and score beautifully for therapy/service work.

The "Tee It Up" Puppy Families

Excited to share our newest mini Bernedoodle puppy families! "Selection Day" was absolutely perfect! Every single family entered our home excited, bursting with joy, and thrilled to be bringing home one of Goldie's babies.

Goldie's puppies now live in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and 9 little ones are staying in the state of Ohio.

Bang, Thud, and Boom

Ultra medium Bernedoodles or AKC Bernese Mountain Dogs?

This litter is stunning! Each of these babies are built like a brick, stocky as can be, have silky inky black coats, intense rust, and yet they will have that low is almost non shedding coat. Crazy right?

Who are we keeping?

We are planning on keeping back 1 female puppy from Ivy's "Out With A Bang" retirement litter. Ivy brought 5 beautiful girls into the world making it almost impossible to choose.

This week we will genetic test each of the females in hopes of having our desired traits for our future litters. We will then wait until the litter is 7 weeks old to make an informed decision that takes into consideration genetic testing, vet clearances, structure, and temperament testing.

Follow along over the next 6 weeks as we try and narrow down our selection to just 1 of these beautiful babies.

Cosmos Cate

This beautiful girl is officially in heat and planned to breed with Boone over the next week. Cozy is our keeper AKC Bernese Mountain Dog from Ivy x Scout's "Salt City Eats" litter.

This Momma has it all . . . beauty, clear genetics, and an incredible temperament. She will no doubt follow in her Momma Ivy's footsteps with raising confident and empowered little ones.

Cozy's first litter will be F1 standard tri colored Bernedoodles planned to arrive around mid August with a mid October "Go Home Date." This is our only F1 standard litter planned for the next year. Spot 4 is currently open to reserve.

Breeder Review

At KBD we give very limited amount of breeding rights. In the past 6 years of our program, we have only given breeding rights to 4 breeders.

Having a breeder leave us a review is a BIG honor. This breeder in particular runs her program very similar to mine. She has been a blessing over the years and I'm grateful we got to play a small role in her program.

We appreciate you and every family that has taken a few minutes out of their busy day to leave us a review.

One more sleep.

Selection Day/Go Home Day is tomorrow morning. We will say goodbye to 9/11 of Goldie x Banks' sweet babies.

Selection Day is always a bittersweet day. Letting go of little ones that we have loved and raised for the past 8 weeks is always hard but we are grateful for our 9 amazing puppy families that will no doubt love them deeply.

Tomorrow is a day of celebration as each of our little puppies enter into their new families with the power to change lives and heal hearts!

We were blessed to watch Goldie step into motherhood with such ease and confidence. She was a remarkable first time Momma! It has been a privilege walking along side with Goldie and raise her sweet 11 souls together. Our Momma dogs are the heartbeat of our program.

Stay tuned for all the details surrounding "Go Home Day." We can't wait to share where each of these babies is heading off to!

Details about our final 2 minis from this litter will be shared on our social media pages Saturday afternoon June 6th.
