Hamilton, a 7 year old Great Pyrenees/English Shepherd mix, is recovering from a TPLO. He loved finding all the free work treats. Water, however, may not be Hamilton's favorite, and he is a very sensitive soul, so we are working slowly to build trust and confidence to get into the pool.
6 year old mixed breed, Benson, has been coming with his brother Winston to get out of the house. He loves to swim, so his mom and dad scheduled him some pool time too. Benson had a blast carrying his ball around the pool and even gave me a kiss.
Rosie is a 10 year old Shepherd mix who loves water and needs low impact exercise. Food overstimulated Rosie, but a ball was perfect for keeping her attention and getting her moving on the platforms.
11 year old Lab/Doberman mix, Eva, has a partial CCL tear. Despite the injury, Eva greeted me with a full body wiggle. We got her comfortable in the pool with treats. After her session, Eva was ready to get on with her busy day, but not before taking a couple more treats.
Opie, a 12 year old Weimaraner, missed his pool sessions at Here Buoy, so wanted to try out Pawsitive Flow. Opie is a super friendly boy and enjoyed booping the treats to let me know which one he wanted. He also carried a firehouse toy around while he walked on the platforms.
Olive is an 8 month old Vizla coming for a puppy intro to water. He was a little unsure at first, but is highly food motivated, so it was easy to coax him into the pool. Olive did so well that we even tried a couple swims.
8 year old Rottweiler/Lab mix, Harley Quinn, has arthritis. Since I use high value treats, Harley and I were fast friends. She has experience swimming at Caesar's Creek, so Harley aced her first session.
