Non-urgent requests I will get back to as soon as I can. If you have a drop off/pick up coming up you must be on time. There will not be my usual extra special accommodations allowed. My pack event is complete! I have a few more boxes in the office to send on and the pack day -organized chaos of a mess- is mostly cleared out of my office! I have some deep cleaning to do now that boxes are all outta way so please excuse the mess until then! If you took part in any part of pack day - THANK YOU! Proper thanks yous to come!

Special thank you to this guy - Sparty! He told his parents to feed the pack day volunteers! Deanna & Josh Russell owners of Jimmy Johns TC donated lunches to feed all the pack day helpers! They have also donated to some of my other events for the youth golfers - not to mention they donate to so many other great events & causes in the community! Every time I go to order & pay Sparty says its covered!

Thank you everyone! Honor Box 2025 FRIENDS theme was a success and photos are starting to roll in of the 225 dogs to thank them for K9 Veterans Day! My fav holiday!

Thank you everyone who donated, shared, or just shared a good word for the Honor Box wishlist! Especially since the pack event is dedicated to long time SunDoggers Spencer and Cody! They were the best of FRIENDS here and often were at camp at the same time! The Joey & Chandler of camp ☺️!

If you want to volunteer for pack day message me and I will pass along details! If you are already confirmed make sure you have correct info :)

My office IS still a holding space and will be until pack day! It is a maze of boxes in there! I will greet you & your dogs out front at drop offs and bring dogs out to you for pick ups as there literally is no room in my office to even stand with even more Honor Box items on the way!

All camp messages thru this morning I have replied to - any messages from later today I will get back to ya once campers go to bed tonight. If you are missing a reply from me let me know! There will be no meet & greet appts until after pack day - if you are still on the meet & greet list those will pick back up soon.

This years Honor Box pack event is dedicated to SunDogs Spencer & Cody!!! Spencer & his humans donated sooooo many dog toys over the years! Not to mention helped consistently with so many of camps other efforts! I had the special honor of giving Spencer a home for the last year of his life after his mom, a client who become a dear friend of mine passed away. Spencer now joins his mom in the big sky!

And CODY the Golden - Planet Cody! Cody was a FRIEND to all (goes with our theme)! Cody & Spencer were always best buds and often getting into camp shenanigans together! They remind me of Chandler & Joey 😆☺️🖤! Such a SunDog in the sky these days 💙☀️🐾!

Yes the office has a pile of boxes and more boxes (organized chaos) 🙃! Last year at this time though you could barely even get into my office and the piles of boxes were everywhere!!! I miss the pure shock and look on all y’alls faces when you walked in last year at this time at how the office looked so lets do it again this year 😆! I have less than a month to get everything we need to honor 230 retired military dogs for K9 Veterans Day!

My office is no where near full so camp needs all the help I can get on our Honor Boxes this year! If you’d like to donate a toy or two see our AWL! Kai is in need of a forever home!

Kai is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who is loving and affectionate but also very protective and wary of strangers, needing time to warm up to new people. He does well with the other dog and cat in the household but is uncertain around unfamiliar animals. He experiences anxiety only at the vet but has never shown aggression. Kai needs plenty of space, like an open yard or farm, as he seems unhappy confined to a backyard. He is independent and stubborn but stays close and follows basic commands on his terms. His thick coat requires regular maintenance. While he gets along with the other dog, he often seems sad indoors and would likely thrive in a more open environment.

This week was supposed to be my first full week off/vacay in an extremely long time yet external factors prevented that from happening. I am around however I am not able to be in camp. SunDog has full coverage and the dogs here are doing just fine with their caretaker. I am way behind on message replies and will try and get caught up on them this weekend if not before.

For some good news though camp’s foster dog Gussie was sent on her trial adoption recently and so far all is going well!

Gussie IS still looking for her forever home!!! I hope to find her a home so she can start her new year off in a new home!

YES she is still available.

And I know its shocking news but I do a whole lot more for Gus than just these posts you see. She is NOT my first foster dog. I have fostered and placed countless dogs into their forever homes. Unless you have something to add of value to finding her forever home please withhold your comments or messages.

Also thank you to everyone who reached out on fostering her - I have no doubt many of you would take great care of her. As of now she will stay at camp (camp is also NOT a “shelter” she is just stuck in 😏🙄)! Unless there is a pet & kid free home out there interested in fostering…I will consider moving her. She needs her forever home due to her owners death! Please reach out if you are interested!

Camp updates:
I had to send another one of my own on his next journey, had a full crew of campers all of November…errrr all year - as always! The camp crew quiets down now a bit before the Christmas rush. I will try and get caught back up on messages as soon as I can - please note there will be a delay in replies from now until Monday/Tuesday. If you’re a holiday booking I will be in touch to get all your times set up into next week. Please watch for SunDog changes going into effect January 1st. I am unsure if I will send it direct to all clients or post on socials/group page. Oh and its not meant to be a sad/grief post at all - this guy had a wonderful long life - I only shared as my camp phone is not my focus 365/24/7…
