Thinking about therapy dog work with your dog?

Our Therapy Dog Classes focus on the skills and behaviors needed for successful therapy visits, helping prepare teams for testing and future volunteer opportunities. Small class sizes allow for personalized instruction and plenty of practice.

Therapy Dog Evaluation Class with Dawn
Take the first step toward becoming a therapy dog team. This evaluation assesses your dog's readiness for therapy dog training and must be completed before registering for the Therapy Dog Class.
• Start Date: Wednesday, July 8th at 7pm
• Duration: 1 session
• Cost: FREE
• Maximum Capacity: 8 dogs

Therapy Dog Class with Dawn
Build the foundation needed for successful therapy dog visits. This class focuses on developing reliable manners, handler skills, and appropriate behavior in a variety of settings while preparing teams for therapy dog testing and volunteer work.
• Start Date: Wednesday, July 15th at 7pm
• Duration: 6 weeks (7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, 8/12, 8/19)
• Cost: $250
• Maximum Capacity: 5 dogs

This is a critical stage for building lasting habits, confidence, and real-world skills that will shape your dog’s behavior for years to come. Through clear, practical training, we help you create a well-mannered, reliable companion you can enjoy in everyday life.

Here’s what you and your dog will work on:

What makes Levels different? Flexible, membership-based training with unlimited drop-in classes during your 2- or 4-month enrollment—so you can train as often as you’d like and move at your dog’s pace, with guidance every step of the way.

Interested in making a difference with your dog?

Therapy dog teams create a lasting impact by volunteering in their communities and bringing comfort, connection, and joy through animal-assisted visits.

Dogs for Difference helps support aspiring therapy dog teams by reducing some of the costs associated with getting started. Assistance may be available for CGC classes, therapy dog training, testing, registration, and other related expenses for qualifying teams.

Clients interested in financial assistance must contact Dogs for Difference directly at [email protected] or visit dogsfordifference.com.

Therapy Dog Evaluation and Class Information

Therapy dog evaluations with Let’s Train will be held July 8 at 7:00 PM. All dogs must attend an evaluation before joining the class. The evaluation is free of charge. The class begins July 15 at 7:00 PM.

Class fees are paid directly to Let’s Train. Clients must contact Dogs for Difference with their receipt to receive financial reimbursement, based on available funding.
