This giant baby Cane Corso came in for his FIRST grooming experience and he did SO well!

Mom and Dad knew that with Chaos growing into an extra-large pup he needed to be introduced to grooming early to him up for success with future grooms... And they were absolutely right! 🙌

Starting grooming young helps puppies learn that the bath, dryer, brushing, nail trims, handling, and all those new sights and sounds are nothing to be afraid of. The goal is to build positive experiences now so future grooms become easier, calmer and more comfortable for him.

We’re so proud of this handsome guy and can’t wait to watch him grow… and grow… and GROW! 😂

Kane came in for his very first grooming appointment with us! 🐾

Sine Kane has no hair to cut, his spa day included a bath, blow dry, ear cleaning, and nail trim.

He was a little nervous when he first arrived, but by the end of his groom it was nothing but wagging tails, kisses, and a whole lot more confidence.

A lot of people think short-haired dogs don't need grooming, but introducing puppies to the grooming process early is important. Regular baths, nail trims, ear cleanings, getting comfortable with the dryer and being handled help build positive experiences that last a lifetime. It makes grooming...and even future vet visits, much less stressful for everyone involved.

Our Bark to School Party was a HUGE success!

The pups burned off some energy with the flirt pole, put on their best “school picture” faces, used their sniffers to hunt down treats in our Hide & Seek game, and even got surprise pup cups from Josh Rousey son, Lane!

And of course, we have to talk about the highlights because these dogs absolutely provided us with some entertainment. 🤣

🐾 Bo was our CHAMPION sniffer and found ALL the hidden treats in about 30 seconds. Apparently, he takes his job very seriously.

🐾 Cash seemed to have left his sniffer at home and found absolutely NOTHING. But don’t worry, he was given treats anyway because we’re nice like that.

🐾 Out of all the treats hidden, bacon was the clear winner.....I mean… obviously.

🐾 Honey, as always was the life of the party. No explanation needed.

🐾 The flirt pole was a HUGE hit with Moose and Gus who treated that thing like it was quite literally a life or death situation. There were no survivors.

🐾 Sadie Grace wanted absolutely no part of the game and instead sat upon her throne casually monitoring everyone’s shenanigans like the queen she is.

🐾 Tucker won Most Photogenic of the Day. Seriously... this boy KNOWS how to pose on command. He understood the assignment.

🐾 Max decided photos are for the birds and was NOT interested in sitting still for one. Luckily we have some pretty amazing photographers who managed to sneak a quick one.

🐾 Gypsy dazzled everyone with her acrobatic skills and even stood on TWO FEET for her pictures. Show-off.

🐾 And finally, The Three Stooges… I mean the Bassets, Rex, Ranger and Bo howled the song of their people pretty much all day long.

All in all it was a day full of treats, zoomies, questionable decisions, and a whole lot of happy pups! We can't wait to party with everyone again this month!

Yesterday we celebrated Kayden's last day with us...and it was definitely a bittersweet goodbye.

We stuffed ourselves with pizza, gave her the ugliest snarky cake that said, Thanks for lowering our payroll. Russell made sure she left with a box of her beloved Cosmic Brownies.

We're really going to miss our real-life Barbie doll around here. She brought so many laughs, she made sure to keep on our toes as we never knew what she was going to say next 🤣

Watching her leave isn't easy, but watching her chase her dream of becoming a veterinarian at UGA is so worth it. We have no doubt she's going to do amazing things.

Thank you for everything Kayden. Pawfection won't be quite the same without you, but we'll be cheering you on every step of the way! 🩷

Teddy came in for his first groom, and we don't think we could've asked for a sweeter little guy 🩷

He is incredibly smart and already knows how to sit on command!

The dryer wasn't Teddy's favorite part of grooming, but with a little reassurance... and a few treats... we watched his confidence grow. By the end of the appointment, he had us trained. He decided the only acceptable way to be dried was while sitting in one of our laps, and somehow, he convinced us that made perfect sense. 😂

We have a feeling this little guy is going to keep us on our toes, and we can't wait to watch him grow!

Summer may be winding down, but we're squeezing in one more fun day for the pups!

Our Stay & Play Back to School Pawty is happening July 30th, and we've got a day full of fun planned!

We'll be playing Hide & Sniff, taking Back to School photos, having fun with the flirt pole, and of course spending the day playing with friends.

Only $35 for the day Drop off as early as 7 am and Pick up by 6pm!
