Ticks aren’t just a nuisance — they can carry serious diseases that affect your horse’s health, including Lyme disease, Anaplasmosis and Equine Piroplasmosis.
Keep your horse safe this season:
-Do daily tick checks, especially around the ears, mane, tail and under the jaw.
-Use vet-recommended repellents.
-Maintain pastures and fence lines to reduce tick habitats.
-Monitor for signs like fever, lethargy, joint stiffness or unexplained lameness.
