It's hot out there, folks! ☀️ Here's how to keep your pet safe and cool this summer:
🐾 Test the pavement — if it's too hot for your hand for 5 seconds, it's too hot for their paws. Stick to early morning or evening walks and prioritize grassy areas.
💧 Hydration station — fresh water everywhere, all day. Add ice cubes for an extra fun (and cooling) treat.
🚗 Never leave pets in the car — even a few minutes can turn deadly (yes, even with the windows cracked).
🏠 Know the warning signs — heavy panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting can be signs of heatstroke. If you notice these, get to a vet immediately.
🌳 Shade + AC over sunbathing — pets can't cool down as easily as we can, so give them a breezy, shaded spot to relax.
Your pet counts on you to help them beat the heat. Stay cool out there, and if you ever have concerns, our team is just a call away! 🐶
