This is apparently the week of the pupcakes! This was a slightly unusual order as I learned about more sensitivities that dogs can have.

Now these are just my regular Carrot Crunch flavor less the heavy whipping cream in the frosting. The new thing I am going to learn because of these though is how to make an eggless cake.

An eggless cake is an unusual thing to make for a dog because typically it means adding more oil and I already try to limit how much oil I use. Furthermore not having an egg gets rid of a huge protein source for dogs.

So my current mission is to come up with a new recipe for a pumpkin and peanut butter dog cake. At least that's the way that I'm leaning towards.

Named for Larry Munson, this not Bulldog is deserving of a good ole Dawgs song for his post.

Munson is celebrating 11 years Chuckit! style today. The most impressive thing about this birthday is that he has recently beaten cancer.

You all know that Talley had cancer when she was about 12 years old and beat it. Then we got another 2.5 years with her. So this cake has become special to me, seeing another senior dog kick cancer butt!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of creating a one-of-a-kind cake blend for Bear!

As you all know, if I can make it happen, I will. 🐾

Bear's mom requested a gluten-free cake, so in rolled the CocoBerry Delight recipe. She also loved the silhouette and lettering style from another cake I'd made, so in came the DBNC carob powder topping.

Originally, we planned to stick with my classic cream cheese frosting, but since I was already making a DBNC cake that same morning, I offered a little time-saver for me and a free upgrade for Bear by adding peanut butter to the frosting. Win-win! 🥜

And because turning double digits is a pretty big deal, I finished it off with a strawberry heart on top... just because. ❤️🍓

Some of you guessed it… some of you didn’t… but here he is—sweet Chachi celebrating his birthday with his mama, Bunnie Xo 🐶✨

I had the joy of baking for his special day, and even got to meet his brother Bussie (my Bassett Hound-loving inner child was absolutely thrilled).

Also, as a Georgia girl Chachi is basically family now.

Sunny has been a pupstomer of mine for 4 birthdays now. Y'all don't want to know how bad I was at decorating cakes 4 years ago. It was Sunny's mama that gave me the push I needed to invest in piping tools. I'm still not as good as I'd like to be but I'm always experimenting and getting better. It all started with her little brother Scout's first pupcakes.
