I had the joy of baking for his special day, and even got to meet his brother Bussie (my Bassett Hound-loving inner child was absolutely thrilled).

Also, as a Georgia girl Chachi is basically family now.

Sunny has been a pupstomer of mine for 4 birthdays now. Y'all don't want to know how bad I was at decorating cakes 4 years ago. It was Sunny's mama that gave me the push I needed to invest in piping tools. I'm still not as good as I'd like to be but I'm always experimenting and getting better. It all started with her little brother Scout's first pupcakes.

Traditionally I don't write on Red Wooflet cakes. It takes away from the traditional Red Velvet feel. However I am pretty happy with how this one turned out. Happy 4th Barkday Trixie!

Sweet birthday wishes to Katrina on her 10th Barkday! 🐾🎉

This sweet senior was the very first recipient of our new tennis ball cake. Honestly, without her, it wouldn’t even exist 💚

This is also the first time a customer has sent me a photo featuring one of our custom cake toppers, and I’m obsessed. These toppers are just $5–$8… will you be adding one to your next pupcake order?

Katrina’s parents chose our LAZYDOG font in Sakura Pink 🩷 and it turned out absolutely perfect.

Something new just rolled onto the menu 🎾

It’s not perfect… yet. This was my very first dome cake, and I had a specific piping tip in mind that would’ve given it that soft, fuzzy tennis ball texture—but of course, I couldn’t track one down last minute. 😅 I also wish I hadn’t added the green border around the bottom since it breaks that clean white line I was going for.

That said, for my first attempt at a dome tennis ball cake, I’m really proud of how it turned out—especially the color!

This cake uses about the same amount of batter as a 6-inch round, so it will be added to the menu at $40. It won’t be available in all flavors just yet—CocoBerry Delight and PB&J are excluded. Since those are my dairy-free and gluten-free options, I’ll be working on modifying other flavors so even allergy-friendly fur babies can enjoy their own tennis ball treats too 🐾

I love making my DBNC cake when people allow me to do silhouettes of their dog's breed. I have a whole collection of templates that I 3D printed. So if you are worried I don't have your dog's breed, don't, we will make it!
