NOW HIRING: Professional Dog Wrangler / Animal Caregiver
Bark Avenue Pet Resort
Do you love animals?
Do you not mind getting dirty?
Have you ever been knocked over by a happy Labrador and thought, “That was worth it”?
If so, you might be the kind of human we’re looking for.
Bark Avenue Pet Resort is searching for someone who understands that working with animals isn’t just cuddles and cute Instagram moments. It’s hard work, long days, lots of cleaning, and occasionally being outsmarted by a beagle.
But it’s also incredibly rewarding.
Important Question:
Are you allergic to cats or dogs?
If yes… this is not the job for you.
If no… keep reading.
⸻
Things That Will Definitely Happen At This Job
• You will get covered in fur.
• You will clean up urine, p**p, drool, vomit, and other exciting surprises.
• Dogs will jump on you like you’re their long-lost best friend.
• A dog may pull hard on a leash like they’re trying to win the Iditarod.
• You may get scratched, barked at, head-butted, or enthusiastically kissed with a very slobbery tongue.
• You will occasionally question your life choices while mopping the floor for the third time that morning.
But you will also:
• Help nervous animals feel safe.
• Comfort pets when they miss their families.
• Spend your day surrounded by dogs and cats instead of office cubicles.
Fair trade, right?
