River is doing amazing! She is so happy and walks pain free. She still has to be leash walked but every week we get to extend the time she walks. She will go back to see the surgeon in a few weeks to get X-rays. Just waiting for the day she can let loose and run like the wind. Thank you to all our wonderful supporters that made this happen for our sweet girl ❤️

Update on River: She came home today. Amazing how she already tries to walk on that leg. Thank you to Dr. Harriman and the staff at HVSE for taking wonderful care of our girl. She has a long road to recovery but everyday will get better and better. We are so blessed to have such wonderful supporters. Without you, we would not have been able to help River.

River Update:
Just got off the phone with the surgeon. The TPLO was a full tear and that repair went perfect. She also had a torn meniscus so all they can do on that is just remove the tear and clean it up. So she did have really bad knee damage. They will keep her tonight on fluids and pain control. I will check in on her this evening.

Today's River's big surgery day! On our way to Huntsville for her TPLo surgery. We can't wait for her to be pain free and acting herself again. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers and donate towards her care if you can!

Update on River: Her TPLO surgery is scheduled for February 10th. She is a strong and healthy girl so we feel confident that she will do great! Please remember her in your prayers. We have scrapped up the funds but it will leave us totally wiped out. We still have dogs to care for so any donations are GREATLY appreciated!

Update on River.... She had her appointment with Dr. Harriman and he confirmed that it is a full tear in her knee. Without the TPLO surgery, she will not have full use of her leg and a lifetime of pain. There have been several donations but we are only halfway to having the funds. This sweet girl really needs your help. River is a young and happy girl with a full life ahead of her. Please, any amount helps. We are struggling to raise $2000. Until the funds are raised, we cannot schedule the surgery. Blessings to everyone and lots of doggie kisses from River.

Rabbit has a sad but interesting past...he was rescued from the side of the road he was threw out of a moving car...it broke his arm.
