Compassion Kind is a 501c3 global humanitarian and animal welfare organization. To empathize, we must first be aware of the suffering.

Compassion is an awareness of others' suffering combined with a willingness to take action to relieve the suffering. We seek to ignite compassion in global citizens and inspire them to take action. We focus on the most pressing animal welfare and human rights issues around the globe. We envision a world with less suffering and more compassion; a conscious culture that extends its circle of compassion to all kinds regardless of race, gender, sexuality, religion or species.

‼️‼️‼️ Gaetan is now safe, but his foster will be traveling, and he urgently needs a new foster home by TOMORROW! ‼️‼️‼️

He almost lost his life because he couldn’t stop wagging his tail.

Gaetan, a one-year-old terrier mix who landed on the euthanasia list because of something heartbreaking: a happy tail.

Gaetan was so excited whenever someone walked past his kennel that he repeatedly injured his tail from wagging it against the walls. Despite multiple surgeries, the injuries continued, and he was placed on the euthanasia list.

Imagine almost losing your life simply because you were so happy to see people. 💔

Nobody chose Gaetan. Until we did. ❤️

This can be temporary! His current foster can welcome him back in January if he hasn’t found his forever family.

After everything he’s been through, Gaetan deserves a home where his happiness is celebrated, not punished.

Not even a year old, Shiloh has already been failed by humans twice.

Rescued as a terrified puppy covered in fleas, she slowly learned to trust and even found what we thought was her forever home.

Sadly, she was later found chained to a doorway in the blazing Jamaican sun with no shade, no water, and barely enough room to move. 💔

Despite everything, Shiloh is still the sweetest, most loving girl who adores other dogs, cats, and children. ❤️

Meet Ackee. 💜🐾 A little girl who has been through so much, yet somehow still finds joy in absolutely everything.

When we first met Ackee in Jamaica, she was living in a yard, severely emaciated, covered in sores, suffering from mange, and receiving none of the love or care she so desperately needed.

Today, at just one year old, she is absolutely thriving. Watching her discover how beautiful life can be has been one of the greatest gifts. 🥹

Ackee is the most beautiful, jovial little soul. She loves her toys, soft blankies, cozy spaces, and most of all, being close to someone who makes her feel safe. She’s a cuddler through and through and absolutely melts into gentle pets, head massages, and reassurance.

But Ackee also needs someone who understands that healing takes time. Sometimes new things are scary. Sometimes unfamiliar experiences bring back fears from her past. In those moments, she just needs patience, comfort, and someone to remind her that she’s safe now.

We want someone who will show this little girl the world. Someone who will celebrate every new discovery, spoil her with love, and help her experience all the beautiful things she’s missed.

Ackee is wonderful with other dogs, and we think she’d love a canine sibling. She’s kid-approved, and based on her interactions with other small animals, we believe she could do beautifully with cats, too!

🏡 We’re looking for a forever home or foster-to-adopt home for our precious Ackee.

She’s already survived the hardest part of her story. Now she deserves a lifetime of soft places to land, adventures to discover, and people who will never let her question whether they’re loved.

Meet Biscuit. 🥹💜 Five months old, a million reasons to give up, and somehow, this little boy has nothing but love for the world.

Biscuit was hit by multiple cars when he was just a tiny puppy, leaving him with three fractures in his front leg that healed improperly. We can only imagine the pain and suffering he endured at such a young age. But you would never know it from the way he approaches life today.

This boy is PURE JOY. 🥹

He’s discovering the world one little adventure at a time, and everything is exciting to him. This week alone, Biscuit learned about putt-putt golf, swimming pools, and even babies! And let me tell you, he passed every single test with flying colors. ⛳️💦👶

He loves everyone he meets. He’s gentle, affectionate, endlessly curious, and would happily spend his entire day curled up in someone’s arms. He is truly one of the sweetest little souls we’ve ever met.

On November 5th, Biscuit will undergo surgery to amputate his injured leg, officially becoming our little tripod. But we have no doubt he’ll continue embracing life with the same enthusiasm and happiness he has now.

And now, we want to find him the most extraordinary forever home. 💜

We’re accepting adoption and foster-to-adopt applications now, even as he awaits surgery. We want a family who will cherish his gentle spirit, support him through recovery, take him on adventures, and give him the beautiful life he’s always deserved.

Coffee is ready for you to “fall” in love with him furever!

Coffee is a 1yr old bully mix who was surrendered when his owners could no longer care for him. He is a very sweet, active, playful boy who loves other dogs! He is currently in foster with 4 other pups and is thriving!

Coffee is a great dog for taking to the pumpkin patch, local breweries, or just around town to show off his cute wrinkles.

🚨🐱 URGENT: LITTLE LILY NEEDS SURGERY! PLEASE HELP! 🐱🚨

Our sweet Lily is just 5 months old, and instead of spending her kittenhood playing, exploring, and enjoying life without a care in the world, she’s facing an unexpected medical challenge. 💔

Recently, we noticed that Lily seemed a little off balance and was experiencing discomfort with her ear. We initially suspected an ear infection, so she was seen by our veterinarian and prescribed medicated ear drops.

Unfortunately, Lily wasn’t getting better.

At her follow-up appointment, further investigation revealed that Lily has a polyp that needs to be surgically removed.

💔 The cost of Lily’s surgery is nearly $700, and we desperately need your help to make it happen.

Lily is still just a baby. She deserves to feel comfortable, healthy, and happy. We don’t want her to spend another day longer than necessary dealing with discomfort when there’s a procedure that can help her.

Unfortunately, we cannot move forward with scheduling her surgery until we have the funds to cover it, and every day we spend fundraising is another day Lily has to wait.

We’ve been hit with quite a few unexpected medical cases recently, and while we will always do everything we can for the animals in our care, these unplanned expenses put an enormous strain on our already stretched resources.
