✨ 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐲 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 ✨

Two weeks ago, Abby was a broken momma dog at the Dallas TX shelter, facing euthanasia. Her eyes told a heartbreaking story; she just wanted a second chance.

Now, safe in her foster’s loving care, Abby is thriving! Her sparkle is back, her tail is wagging, and her joy is contagious. She’ll never be used for breeding again, only love, kindness, and happiness from here on out.

Abby is heartworm positive, and once she’s strong enough, her treatment will begin. We are so grateful to give her this new life. 💖

✨𝐖𝐞𝐥𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 (𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐥𝐲 𝐈𝐜𝐞) 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐃𝐂 𝐃𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐬 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲! ✨

This morning, we sprung Kingston from the Miami-Dade shelter. Sadly, Kingston was born at the shelter almost one year ago to the day, and just recently ended up back there as a stray. No one came for him, so we knew we had to step in. This sweet, friendly boy deserves so much more. 💕

For now, Kingston is safe with a temp foster, but they’ll be out of town next week. That means we urgently need a new foster home lined up ASAP. Even a couple of weeks would make all the difference! If you’re able to foster this handsome boy, please comment below. He is currently in Port Saint Lucie, FL.

He hasn’t been officially tested with other dogs yet, but staff reported he showed playful body language when seeing other dogs in the yard. Since we don’t know how he does with kids, he needs a foster home with no little ones.

We want to send a huge thank-you to our wonderful volunteer, Danielle Tuvia, for meeting Kingston at the shelter and giving us a glowing assessment of him, and to our rockstar Jodi Skougor for scooping him up from MDAS and transporting him to his amazing temp fosters, Tiffany & Howard Harned. We are so grateful to this incredible team for making Kingston’s freedom ride happen today.

🥹Eloise has been discharged from the vet🥹

✨Eloise’s vet visit in summary: she developed pyometra (an infection of the uterus that can happen when females are left intact). This infection made her septic, a systemic widespread inflammatory response that could’ve easily killed her. On top of that, she was found to be in the early stages of pregnancy with 8-10 puppies and a uterus full of pus and infection 😭 this breaks our heart 💔 Likely, Eloise nor any of the puppies would’ve survived. She was dehydrated, anemic, obviously malnutritioned, had pneumonia, ear infection and new wounds from her recent fight. Her x-rays also showed bilateral torn knee ligaments. She is a FIGHTER. Many dogs would’ve succumbed to this long list of serious and deadly issues. Not Eloise. We are so glad she has that Dogo spirit ❤️

✨Eloise was rushed into an emergency spay procedure last night to remove her infected uterus and save her life. She was given potent antibiotics and has been on fluids all day. She has a spark in her eye tonight 🥹 ready to move on and live the life she was destined to live.

✨Eloise’s guardian angel is her foster Shannan. She was observant and stuck with her gut and got her into the vet at 8pm on a Monday night. She saved her life and we are so grateful 🥹

✨GRATEFUL. We are so grateful for Eloise’s guardian angel and foster Shannan for sticking with her gut. For her vets who took fantastic care of her. For every single person that has donated, shared and prayed for her. Eloise has a beautiful, strong community behind her and for that, we are incredibly thankful and GRATEFUL.

𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐥𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐞:
Eloise made it through surgery last night and is now resting. She’s on IV fluids and very sleepy as she recovers. We expect another update before noon today.

The emergency bill we paid last night was $5,178, and costs may still increase depending on how long she needs to stay in the hospital. This is an enormous expense for us, and we truly need help covering it. 💔

𝐔𝐏𝐃𝐀𝐓𝐄: Eloise is going in for emergency Pyometra surgery right now. To top it off, she also has pneumonia and CCL tears in both her back legs. This is heartbreaking. 💔 She doesn’t deserve this.😭.

🚨🙏 Please keep our sweet Eloise in your prayers right now. She suddenly began struggling to breathe, and her foster mom rushed her to the ER immediately. We are very worried. 💔

Just this morning, she seemed to be turning a corner, eating, drinking, and showing a little spark of energy. But out of nowhere, her condition took a sharp and frightening turn. This precious girl has already endured so much, and it’s devastating to see her decline so quickly.

We’re praying this is something treatable and that she can return home tonight. In the meantime, we won’t hesitate to do whatever it takes for her care, even as our medical bills continue to climb.

Say hello to Royce, the sweetest baby boy with a big future! At just 4.5 months old, this handsome pup is already showing off his smarts, loving nature, and gentle temperament. He’s wonderful with people, loves other dogs, and even gets along with cats!

Royce will grow into a big boy, so he’s looking for a home that can give him plenty of training, structure, and socialization. He can’t spend long days in a crate, so if you’re away from home more than 5+ hrs, he wouldn’t be a good match. He truly needs someone ready to dedicate a lot of time, patience, and love during these important puppy months. 💕

✨ Eloise from SEAACA is SAFE✨

🐾Just a few days ago, we put out a foster plea for Eloise as she was scheduled to lose her life last Friday. We received many wonderful offers but before we could pull her, someone from the public adopted her, along with an adult intact female Cane Corso. Unfortunately, our immediate concern came to fruition when the adopter reached out yesterday letting us know Eloise and the corso had a bad fight and she needed another home immediately.
🐾Thankfully, our awesome temp foster opened her home without hesitation and Eloise is now SAFE with us. She will be going to her foster today where she can finally rest, heal and get the vet treatment she needs.
💔 Seeing her condition at the shelter was heartbreaking, and knowing she suffered even more in a fight crushed us. Yet through it all, Eloise has remained sweet and gentle, like many of the mama dogs we’ve saved; she is just grateful to be safe at last.
❤️Special thanks to Java & Shannon. Without the quick action of these 2 wonderful ladies, we aren’t too sure we would have Eloise with us right now.
🐾 Eloise’s IMMEDIATE needs: she is 20+ pounds underweight, has an eye infection, horribly scarred ears, kennel cough, her skin is in terrible condition and now wounds all over her face from the fight. We are monitoring her healing closely and she will be seeing a vet ASAP. She will be spayed when she’s healthy.
