We're so excited to be opening our 3rd location in May, expanding our reach from Okaloosa, Leon, to Marion County! Our brand new facility will be located just north of I-10 off Thomasville Road.

Open 12 hours daily and 7 days per week, we provide same-day emergency care for pets facing sudden illnesses, injuries, and urgent health concerns. With no wondering what is happening behind closed doors, we also pride ourselves in offering care that allows you to stay with your pet for the entire duration of their visit.

For our feline friends - we have a separate waiting room specifically designed with cats in mind as well as exam rooms that are dedicated to cats only, offering calming pheromones and enrichment toys to keep them calm and comfortable during their treatment.

We offer compassionate, affordable, and efficient veterinary services. Walk-ins welcome at all locations because when your pet needs care, we’re always OnPoint!

That warm Florida weather has arrived which unfortunately means our pets are at risk of heat stroke. Make sure you know the signs and how to handle them! A healthy body temperature is anywhere between 99 and 103 degrees. Heat exhaustion begins to occur at 104 degrees and anything over 104 degrees puts your dog at risk of a heat stroke and possibly death.

If you suspect your dog is having a heat stroke:
☀️ Bring your pet inside immediately. Give them an open space to lay down with plenty of air flow
💨 Place a fan nearby if you have one. Have your dog lay on a cool (not cold) towel
💧Offer a bowl of water to drink. You may also take a COOL washcloth and wipe their face and coat to expedite the cooling process. Never use ice or ice water!

📞 Call your veterinarian and let them know you are on the way if your dog falls unconscious or doesn’t seem to be improving within minutes. Seconds can be the difference between life and death in this Florida heat!

ATTENTION! If you have a significant other at home, don’t forget the flowers this Valentine’s Day! Better yet, take it one step further and use these suggestions below for curating the perfect bouquet that is also safe for pets!

As an added bonus to make sure you don’t fumble the holiday, we’ve put together a list of items to steer away from:

🍫 Chocolate: all types are toxic due to theobromine and caffeine
🍬 Sugar-free candy or gum: we’ve all heard of xylitol which is a common ingredient in sugar-free candies and can cause rapid liver failure in dogs
🌸 Hazardous flowers: lilies are known to be extremely toxic to cats (even pollen or water from the vase). Tulip and daffodil bulbs are also toxic! Lastly, baby’s breath is a beautiful filler but can be known to cause GI upset so it’s best to use an alternative such as ferns
🎈 Decorations: while fun and inexpensive, balloons can pose a serious choking or intestinal obstruction risk if swallowed (not to mention the negative impact on our environment!)
