Patient spotlight: Meet Lucy Lou! She has officially completed her puppy vaccine series here at Timberlane! We have loved watching her mature and grow into her own these past several months. Congrats on your clean bill of health Lucy Lou!

Patient spotlight: Meet Pumpkin! She visited us due to having a critical condition called pyometra. This is a dangerous infection of the uterus following a heat cycle which requires emergency surgery to treat. She did great under anesthesia and has had a successful recovery. We loves us some Pumpkin!

Patient spotlight: Brigadier visited us after chewing apart his bedding and was not feeling well after. We took radiographs showing lots of material in his stomach and elected to take him to surgery. We were surprised to also find an intact foot long pull toy in his stomach!!! Entire contents weighed in at 3 lbs 🤯 he is feeling much better now and reminds all other dogs to not eat things they aren’t supposed to!

Patient spotlight: meet Carolina! She presented to us with a condition called Pyometra. This is a very serious infection of the uterus occurring 1-2 weeks after a recent heat cycle and the only successful treatment is emergency spay. She did great with her recovery and wants to remind everyone to get their pets spayed and neutered when recommended! You go Carolina!

Patient spotlight: meet Stitch! This sweet boy had a dental cleaning with us and had multiple extractions completed. He had advanced dental disease and feels like a new man since we removed all the affected teeth! His before and after pictures are posted here. Way to go Stitch!

Patient spotlight: Meet Nabi! She came to us with a history of vomiting and lethargy for a few days. Nabi had previous surgery due to foreign material ingestion and sure enough we found another intestinal blockage on ultrasound! Silly Nabi ate fabric which we surgically removed. She has made a full recovery and back to her lively self!

Patient spotlight: Meet Charlie! He had exploratory surgery last week to remove a corn cob piece in his intestine found on radiograph! He has done very well post op and is on the road to recovery! Congrats Charlie, now stay out of trouble
