With your input years of pet care experience and up-to-date know-how, Dr. Hale will efficiently and effectively look after the comfort and well being of your family pets. Our recommendations may inc

lude just simple practical advice based on just an examination or our advice may range to include more sophisticated, yet appropriate diagnostic tests, techniques, procedures and treatments. In some cases, alternative primary or adjunctive approaches may be suggested. We always strive to explain your pet’s problems and treatment options clearly. We appreciate that “medical things” are hard to fully understand with one conversation. We will always patiently and courteously answer your concerns. Cross Creek Animal Clinic, in fact, employs staff members who specialize in communicating with you about your pet’s well being, about problem solving and about general medical matters.

‼️Cold temperatures are expected in Tallahassee over the next week, and we want to help keep your pets safe.‼️

Please review these cold weather safety tips for dogs and cats:

• Keep pets indoors whenever possible
• Limit outdoor exposure and monitor for shivering or weakness
• Provide warm, dry bedding away from drafts
• Check paws for cold irritation, ice, or debris after walks
• Do not leave pets in garages, cars, or on porches during cold weather
• Ensure fresh water is available and not frozen

North Florida pets are not accustomed to extended cold temperatures, and even healthy pets can be affected quickly. If something does not seem right, trust your instincts and reach out.

As we approach the holidays, we want to share an important scheduling update. Our clinic will be closed on the listed holiday dates, however all appointments will continue as scheduled at our sister clinic, Buck Lake Animal Hospital, located at 3514 Mahan Drive.
