Wet Noses Animal Rescue Foster based rescue that pulls animals from high kill-shelters in GA and finds them loving homes.

Wet Noses Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit headquartered in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Founded in 2020 by Abe and Tracey Abrams, we are a foster based rescue that pulls animals from high kill-shelters in the Atlanta area and find them loving homes. While we have a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes, we focus on senior, special needs, small dogs, and puppies. We rely on a volunteer network to help w

ith our lifesaving work. Volunteers provide transportation (aka Freedom Rides) from county animal shelters to the rescue. Once an animal arrives, they receive full medical care, a lot of love, and behavioral support as they adjust to their foster home.

Our adoption event last weekend was such a fun way to connect with our community! We are also happy to share some happy tails this week as a result of the event!

1) Dory and Nemo came to us after their owner passed away. A bonded pair with a lot of personality, they are now loving life with their new mom and dad.

2) Sweet Sasha came to us just this month and she arrived bubbling with personality and love. We knew she wouldn’t have to wait long to find her match and we’re thrilled to share that happened last Saturday!

💗Adopt Honey💗

This girl is a sweet and affectionate Goldendoodle who is full of love and energy. She loves to spend her days hanging out with her foster mom and is never too far from her side. Honey is a little comedian who is especially happy and thankful during meal times - she'll do anything for a snack!

An intelligent pup, Honey is not only house trained but also has great house manners. She had a rough start in life and will need a patient family who will give her time to adjust and blossom. A confident doggy sibling to show her the ropes would be a plus!

⭐️Freedom Ride⭐️

A huge shout out to Fannin County Barking Buddies and Donna Jones Turek for giving this sweet soul a freedom ride from one of our shelter partners today.

At 5 and a 1/2 months old, this little fella found himself at a shelter experiencing some medical issues. We’ve rushed him to our vet and will keep you all updated on what we learn. In the meantime, we’ll get him comfy in foster home tonight so he can begin to rest and heal.
