We are a Foster based rescue in Blue Ridge, GA that pulls animals from high kill-shelters throughout the state and finds them loving homes.

Wet Noses Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit headquartered in Blue Ridge, Georgia. Founded in 2020 by Abe and Tracey Abrams, we are a foster based rescue that pulls animals from high kill-shelters in the Atlanta area and find them loving homes. While we have a variety of breeds, ages, and sizes, we focus on senior, special needs, small dogs, and puppies. We rely on a volunteer network to help w

ith our lifesaving work. Volunteers provide transportation (aka Freedom Rides) from county animal shelters to the rescue. Once an animal arrives, they receive full medical care, a lot of love, and behavioral support as they adjust to their foster home.

Riley is one of the 13 Pomeranians that we took in from the Backyard Breeding Case. She is a female Pomeranian and guesstimated to be about 5 years old. She only weighs about 7 pounds!!!! 😭4 YEARS…..STILL WAITING…..😭

Like Abby, Casey has been in rescue for 4 years!!! He has now grown up in a rescue environment due to no fault of his own. Unfortunately, We just don’t get adopters in our area that are interested in adopting the bigger breeds. And sometimes, without any reason, there’s just that one puppy in the litter that doesn’t get adopted. Casey is that puppy!

Casey longs for a home where he can be number one. He has been with us since day one. His litter was born 9/22/21. This gorgeous guy is a Boxer Mix. He has such soulful eyes that seem like they are looking deep into your soul. His ideal home includes someone who is home all the time and is devoted to making their dog’s lives fun. He would enjoy lots of outdoor activities as long as he was with his people. A fenced yard is needed for this boy. Give him a chance! Don’t you want to spoil him and share your life with someone special? He has been saving lots of love for you!!! He is a very affectionate boy!!!! He loves kisses and snuggles!!!! He sometimes thinks he’s a lap dog:) This boy has a beautiful soul and is just waiting for a family who will love him unconditionally and cherish all that he is!!!!!

Tracker is a 1-year-old Chihuahua mix with eyes that tell a story and a heart full of pure love. This sweet boy may be a little shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’ll be your most loyal companion.

Aro is a 4 year old male, Belgian Malinois and Patterdale Terrier mix. His mom was 100% Belgian Malinois and his dad was 100% Patterdale Terrier. He is completely a lovebug and his favorite place is your lap or leaning against you. He is a happy, loving boy who will make a great companion for a lucky family.

Aro gets the cutest zoomies when he's excited. An active boy, he loves going on adventures, running around the yard, and playing with his siblings. Already house and crate trained, Aro is a smart dog who learns things quickly and thrives with a routine. He's also a great size at 34 lbs!
