Good Morning everyone. We want to thank everyone so very much for donating towards Chi Chi's care. Her foster mom has renamed her Bailey.

She received the monoclonal antibodies last evening for parvo as well as medicine for nausea.
She is home resting.

We are hoping for the best and hope she
Will be able to eat and drink. We are praying her GI symptoms wont be horrible and she will continue to be stable enough to stay home

We have subcutaneous fluids to give her if she needs them and will do our very best to support her through this. She has lots of TLC headed her way.

We will share updates again soon.

When it rains it pours. We did not expect this 😔 at all

We were just asked late afternoon to take a 14 week old parvo puppy here in the city of Syracuse. She is an owner surrender. She started getting sick yesterday and is Parvo positive. We know how deadly this virus can be and how preventable it is with vaccines.

Chichi needs help now. She is a candidate
For the monoclonal antibodies which we have seen significantly improve their survival rates. Without vet care she more than likely will not survive.

We certainly were not expecting this today, especially after Tiny Tim, but we have a Foster and it's not right to turn her away if we can help her.

Please consider helping and giving her a chance at life. Shes just a baby. She is currently at our emergency hospital on Bridge Street. The cost of this ER visit will likely be $1500-$2000. 😔

We have a quick update on Tiny Tim. He is at our vet partner.  Dr Turner said  He's got a lot going on . She sedated him to clean up his wounds.  He has several puncture wounds  consistent with being attacked by another animal.  They are infected and have pus draining from them. He obviously has severe dermatitis and will get medication to make his skin feel better.
He has a  lot of healing to do.

No animal should be dumped alone.  he is so lucky to be alive. This could have gone very badly for him.  we need tougher laws for people that dont care for their animals and neglect them.  throwing them off to fend for themselves in an abandoned property is never the answer. Never.

We are so grateful to everyone that has  donated towards his care.  we will keep you updated as much as we can.  please know that he is in the best possible hands.

We are so grateful to the people that rescued him especially Amy for  reaching out to the rescue  and facilitating his vet care and to the Vet Tech who has been one of our fosters , crystal , for being willing to take him home.  he needs a lot of love and TLC.
Thats exactly what he will get with her.

🚨We have an emergency this morning that cant wait. 🚨
We could not say no to this little puppy. Its obvious looking at his poor defeated face why we could not turn our backs on him.
He needs us.

" Tiny Tim " was found abandoned all alone in what appears to be a popular dumping ground for unwanted animals. He is covered in dried blood. A good samaritan took him home last night to warm him up , give him some food and keep him safe until the vet opens this morning.
Hes headed to our vet partner straightaway this morning.

Please consider donating towards Tiny Tim's care. We have absolutely no idea what happened to him or what he needs. Once he sees our vet, we will probably have a better idea. We just know he is hurt and needs our help.

We just don't understand how people could leave a poor helpless animal all alone to fend for himself .. especially a little helpless puppy. Not only does he not feel good he must be terrified.
This just breaks our hearts and makes us angry at the same time .

Please give us a hand if you can. We definitely need some help. We have a lot of foster dogs under our wing right now and many of them have hefty medical expenses. We are a 5013C organization and all donations are tax deductible.

We are so thrilled to share that momma Fergie is officially adopted 🎉🎉🎉

Fergie was taken into the rescue on a hot summer day in July. She went on to have 8 puppies . After she got done welping her litter it was time to work on finding her the forever home she deserves.

Fergie has had a tough life so far. We cant take that back but we did everything possible to make sure her future is bright and happy.
The good news is that the tough days are over for her. No more being stranded in the heat outside. No more wondering when her next meal is going to be or when she will have water to drink. No more living outside with all the fleas and tics.

It's time for Fergie to be pampered ... and we know she will get the love and TLC She has needed for so long. She has a family that is devoted to her.

Happy trails Fergie. We are so happy for you. Thank you to everyone for all of your support helping with Fergie and her puppies. We couldn't have done it without you. 🐾🩷

Happy 8th Birthday to Jada 🎉🎉🎉.

It has been such a treat watching her adventures with her family since they adopted her . She came into the rescue early on when we were just getting off the ground
It's hard to believe so much time has passed. !!

We could not be happier for Jada and the life that she has ... it's our dream for every dog to have such a blessed and loving life.

Christmas came and went. Ally is still no closer to being adopted then she was almost a year ago when she came to the rescue. She's going to keep dreaming of a family that will adopt her and give her the Forever Home She has been waiting for ... for so long.
Ally is deaf but it does not hold her back
