Gloria and Nikki are both Approved Veterinary Assistants (AVA). While their role may look similar to Veterinary Assistants, AVAs have to go through an accredited program and pass an assessment exam established by the National Association of Veterinary Technicians in America. This program has been designed to elevate and standardize veterinary assistant education. As an AVA, Gloria and Nikki are able to provide more skilled support to veterinarians and technicians.
