Male cats are at higher risk for urinary blockages, which can prevent them from urinating at all. Warning signs include straining in the litter box, frequent trips with little or no urine, crying out, licking the ge***al area, or having accidents outside the box. A blocked urinary tract is a medical emergency that requires immediate care.
🚨 If you notice any of these signs, call (623) 474-3877 right away.

The inner ear helps control coordination, posture, and head position, allowing cats to land on their feet and move gracefully. When this system is disrupted, cats may appear unsteady, tilt their head, walk in circles, or struggle to jump. Balance problems can signal ear infections, neurological conditions, injury, or toxin exposure and should never be ignored.
āš ļø If your cat seems off balance or disoriented, call (623) 474-3877 right away.

Dogs are incredible creatures, and their instinct to hide pain is a testament to their survival instincts. In the wild, showing vulnerability can make them prey. Limping, slowing down on walks, trouble jumping, changes in appetite, or increased irritability can all be quiet signals that something isn’t right. Even small behavior changes may indicate injury, arthritis, or illness. Early evaluation can make a big difference in your dog’s comfort and recovery.

The open-mouth sniffing face is caused by something called the ā€œflehmen reaction,ā€ and it’s perfectly normal. When your feline friend takes a sniff and leaves its mouth open for a few seconds, it’s actually drawing air into the mouth and up into Jacobson’s organ. This action helps the organ to process the scent more deeply than your cat’s nose can and sends signals to your cat’s brain. Usually, cats will have the flehmen reaction when sniffing urine or f***s from another cat, since these substances contain pheromones. Do your cats do this?
