As a trainer, many times you feel unaccomplished, behind not meeting your goals.
We go in with a plan to see that the horse needs more fine tuning here or there. They didn't take in yesterday's lesson, or we need to fine-tune it to add onto it. Hours, days, snow, rain, mud that horse is depending on us to guide them on.
When we send them home, we hope we meet the owners' goals, our own goals, and the horse leaves more confident than ever.

Nothing makes my heart happier than hearing that the owner and horse have bonded and achieved a great first ride back home! Makes all the long days, the worries worth it! Happy trails to Hank and his Mom as they go out and achieve great things.
