πŸ“šπŸΎ Our leadership team recently had the opportunity to attend Fetch dvm360 in Nashville! Dr. Hill, Dr. Baker, and our leadership team spent several days learning from some of the best minds in veterinary medicine.

We brought home valuable insights on heart disease in dogs, updated spay and neuter recommendations, allergy management, communication strategies, and building a stronger clinic culture. Continuing education helps us stay current, improve the care we provide, and continue growing as a team.

We're excited to put what we've learned into practice and continue finding ways to better serve our patients, clients, and each other. ❀️🐢🐱

Not all stories in veterinary medicine have happy endings....

But this one does. This guy somehow got loose and made his way all the way across Summerville before he was found. Thanks to his microchip, we were able to get him back to his owners safely!

Not all lost pets are so lucky, especially when they don't have a microchip. Just in case the unthinkable happens, always make sure your pet is microchipped and your contact information is up to date!

Some reviews feel like a warm hug, and this one was no exception....

"Our 2-year-old German Shepherd is very fearful and anxious during vet visits due to a traumatic experience he had as a puppy. Because of this, we specifically looked for a fear-free clinic and are so happy we found Cane Bay.

We recently moved to the area and brought him in for his first visit to establish care, update his annual vaccines, and complete routine testing. From start to finish, the staff and doctor were incredibly supportive and made the experience as stress-free as possible.

At previous clinics, some staff members seemed nervous around our GSD, which only increased his anxiety. That was not the case at Cane Bay. The entire team was calm, understanding, and confident in handling him. They truly took the time to understand his situation and cared for him so well.

We highly recommend Cane Bay to anyone with an anxious or fearful pet. They genuinely work with you to make visits as smooth and seamless as possible."
