It’s that time to celebrate 🎊 🥳🎊👏🏻 our patient of the month! It’s sweet Ozzie 😍 Here is a sweet bio from the family:

Meet Ozzie, our beloved Aussiedoodle who’s proudly the Pet of the Month at Lanier Animal Hospital! Ozzie just turned 4 and has brought endless joy, laughter, and love into our lives since day one. He’s a sweet boy with a heart of gold and truly has never met a stranger—everyone he meets instantly becomes a friend. His favorite pastime is playing fetch with a tennis ball, and he never seems to tire of it. We named Ozzie after the famous Atlanta Braves shortstop, and just like his namesake, he’s full of energy and charm. We couldn’t imagine life without our happy, tail-wagging companion!

It’s time to celebrate 🎊 our patient of the month Emmet! He is a frequent flier for our grooming services and is the bestest boy 🐾 here is what dad had to say about him:

Meet Emmet — a proud alum of You Lucky Dog Rescue! Now living his best life with his mom, dad, and two human sisters, Emmet is the heart of the family. His favorite food? Food (not a typo), though he has a soft spot for white rice and crisp apples. Nothing makes him happier than hopping in the car for a ride — his absolute favorite activity. Life is good for this happy pup!

It’s time to celebrate 🎊 🥳👏🏻 our patients of the month Zoey and Brystol! They are our frequent guests for grooming and day Boarding! Here is a biography from mom:

Brystol and Zoey live in Cu***ng, GA with their mom, dad and older brother.

Brystol was adopted from Animal Rescue Foundation in Walnut Creek, CA in April 2013 as a puppy. She loves spending her days sleeping, running around the yard and squeaking her woobies(toys). Her favorite thing is cuddling with mommy on the couch in the evening. You wouldn't know her age by looking at her, she is hyper and a high jumper. She loves doing tricks for carrots.

Zoey was adopted from Atlanta Humane Society in August of 2019 as a puppy. She is a unique soul. She will loudly bark at anything and everything, scaring off anyone that comes to the house. At the same time, she is afraid loud sounds like thunder and will spend time in her room alone, not even coming out to eat if she thinks the storm is still around. Zoey loves the sun and will find warm spots in the house and spends time sunning herself in the yard as much as possible. She also loves to play fetch with her woobies(toys) in the house.

They have both brought much love and fun to our house.

Can we take a moment to brag on our very own patient Rhobi? He is the Rhodesian Ridgeback on the left who was honored a few weeks ago at the Georgia Capitol!

He is apart of the HOPE Animal Assisted Crisis Response team. They provide essential mental health assistance and support to Georgians in the wake of recent disasters and tragedies and we want to thank him for his vital work!

Great job Rhobi!! Keep up the fantastic work ❤️❤️

One of our amazing clients is fostering sweet Toto and is helping him look for his forever home!! Please take a moment to share this post if you are unable to adopt him. His sweet face deserves all the kisses he can handle 💋😘💋❤️😘❤️

🎉🐾 April Fools? Not this time. 🐶

Hi, I’m Toto — and while today might be full of jokes and pranks, there’s nothing funny about still waiting for my forever family. 😔

No tricks here: I’m a lovable, loyal, happy-go-lucky guy who’s been patiently hoping someone will see me and say, “That’s my dog!” 🐕💛

I’ve got all the charm, the snuggles, and the good-boy manners. And let’s not forget this handsome face. 😍

So while everyone else might be pulling pranks today… I’m just over here dreaming of belly rubs, fenced-in yards, and a human to call my own. 🏡💫

Ready to stop clowning around and adopt your new best friend? Check me out!

It’s time for our patients of the month!! It’s the Gaines family who has a wonderful home filled with lots of purrs 🐱😻🐱😻 here is everyone’s bio:

Stella and Chelsea
Stella and Chelsea are mother and daughter. They came into our family as fosters from a local rescue organization. Stella had been a stray at an Atlanta apartment complex and one of the kind residents took her in when they noticed Stella was pregnant. Once the kittens were born, Stella and her kittens came to me as fosters. Chelsea was one of 6 kittens. Five of the kittens were adopted, but when it came time to turn Stella and Chelsea back over to the rescue to go up for adoption, we couldn’t let them go. We foster failed and these beautiful ladies have been with us ever since. Though they’re both technically seniors, they’re in prefect health.

Howie
Howie is the youngest of the group and the most active. He’s also a foster fail that we fostered as a kitten but adopted. He can normally be found at the top of one of the cat trees or any other high spot he can access when he’s not running around the house. He’s a bit hard to catch and get into a carrier for his vet visits. He’s FIV+, but that’s no big deal. It’s safe for him to live with non-FIV cats. He’s in perfect health and runs circles (literally sometimes) around the other cats.

Pete and Puffer
Pete and Puffer are brothers from the same litter and we refer to them as the P’s. They’re both tri-pods to different degrees. They first came to us as fosters when their humans went on a 6-month work assignment to New Zealand. Quarantine protocols are very strict for bringing pets into New Zealand. Since both P’s are very shy, their humans thought it was best for them to stay stateside. That original 6-month assignment turned into a year instead. When they returned to the states we did return the P’s to their humans, but they were sorely missed. 18 months later their humans contacted us about taking the cats back. Their family had grown to include a toddler and the P’s weren’t adapting well. We were thrilled to get our P’s back and happily adopted them. They’re now 15 years old and while they do have some health issues, they’re both very content and happy kitties as long as they get their lap time and snuggles.

Aurora
Aurora is our special needs kitty. She has very limited sight and has had seizures in the past. We know she perceives her environment differently that other cats and as a result she gets stressed when removed from her normal environment. Vet visits can be hard for her. Everyone at Lanier Animal Hosp is very patient with her and tries to make the visits as comfortable as possible. Despite her challenges, she’s a very sweet kitty and lives a contented life. She’s 10 now and we hope to have her with us for many years to come.

Callie
Callie is the newest addition to the family. We adopted her from Lanier Animal Hospital last Fall. (Who could resist those beautiful eyes!!) After an introduction period she fit right into the group. She’s not afraid of anything and loves it when she gets an opportunity to get into cat-prohibited areas. Luckily, we find her pretty quickly most of the time, but she did spend a few hours locked in the pantry once. She normally stays close to her human even to the point of trying to sleep on top of her human’s head.
