Can we please take a moment to celebrate 🎉 our favorite behind the scenes hardest worker ever King 🤴Ed? 🍰🥧🍨🎂🥳 He is our IT guru, Mr. Fix it 🔨⚒️🪚🪛🔧🗜️and a bunch of other job descriptions that if he didn’t do we couldn’t open the doors 🚪 everyday! Thank you for all you do Ed and we hope you had a wonderful day ❤️

Cuteness overload coming in 🥰 we are celebrating 🥳 our family of the month Xena & Ivy! Here is a biography on them from mom 💙

Xena 💕💕💕
We got Xena in 2016 as a puppy. I had told my husband I was going out for ice cream and I came home with a Xena lol. She has been the best not ice cream surprise we have ever had. She loves her people and her balls above all else. Our beautiful girl is a German Shepherd/Boxer mix and she turned 10 last December. She is a sassy girl and we love her.

Ivy 💘💘💘
We rescued Ivy in April 2024 after she was tied up and abandoned on the side of the road by her previous people. Our big girl has 11 different breeds mixed in her with her top three being Mastiff, Great Pyrenees, and German Shepherd. She is a big girl weighing in at 117lbs but she is the biggest baby and can always be bribed with a snack. She is the sweetest girl who loves her people and her babies and she is never far from her mom. Xena and Ivy quickly became the best of friends and having Ivy has put some puppy energy back in our Xena girl. We are truly blessed to have the dogs we do.

It’s time to celebrate our family of the month 🎉🥳👏🏻

Here are the biographies of this fabulous group of animals 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐕🐕

1. Gizmo is a 15 and a half year old pug. He was adopted through the Humane Society by our family in 2012. Although he is deaf and mostly blind, Gizmo still enjoys his favorite hobbies of cuddling with his Daddy and eating treats!

2. Penny is a 12 year old Pugshire (Pug + Yorkie). She was adopted through Pet Finder in 2014. Penny loves to go for walks, chase after squirrels in the backyard, and thinks she is the leader of the household!

3. Pumpkin is a 1 and a half year old American shorthair cat. She was adopted through Cat Rangers by our family in 2024. She loves to climb to high places, play with her ribbon, step on keyboards, and snuggle with her Mommy!

4. Isabella "Izzy" is an 11 month old American shorthair kitty. She was adopted through Cat Rangers in 2025. Izzy loves to sit on her favorite girl's lap and mooch for food. If you ask her, she still believes she has an itty-bitty body with a big brain!!!

It’s time to celebrate 🎉 our patients of the month!! Gentry and Maggie were our lucky 🍀 winners! Here is a biography from mom:

A little about my sweet babies.
Gentry:
I adopted Gentry from Lake Oconee Humane Society on July 8th, 2016. He was from a home with 3 other dogs, and the human mother had cancer and had to give up all of her dogs. The moment I picked him up, he would not let go of me. Those big brown eyes just melted me. I was not going to take him at the time and just knew that someone would adopt him over that weekend, as he was just too sweet and cute. I gave them my name & number and said if no one takes him by the following week, call me and I will come and get him. Well, I got the call and the rest is history. Genty is a sweet, gently and very loving little Chiweenie who just loves to snuggle up next to his people.

Maggie:
My sweet Maggie is also a rescue that I got through Angle Rescue. She was found on a golf course in Cu***ng, roaming around at only 3 weeks old. Someone had just dumped her. Luckily some kind gentlemen caught her and took her to a local shelter and then she went to a Foster home through Angel Rescue. When she became available, I had to go and interview with the foster parents, along with other interested parents, and to my surprise, she bonded with me. I was able to take her home on December 31, 2022. She was very scared of others and did not want to leave my side, but once she became comfortable with her new home and realized that she was safe, she opened up. Maggie is still a little afraid of new people, but once she trusts you, she is a lovebug. She loves her toys and enjoys running and playing with other dogs. She is a mix of Chihuahua and we think Terrier. When she is ready for bed, she runs into the bedroom, moves the pillows aside and climbs under the covers, where she stays all night long, until morning. My toes are always toasty, as she curls up next to them.

I am so blessed to have these sweet baby's part of my family. Thank you for considering them and also for taking such good care of them. We love Lanier Animal Hospital!

Last week we celebrated Bully’s 18th birthday 🎊🎉

He lives in our treatment area and roams around very well for an old man with only 3 legs! He was brought to us as a kitten with a leg that was broken in 5 places and it was best to amputate.

He gets so much love every day and is spoiled every month with a new house to live in. Happy Birthday Bully!!! 😻😻😻😻😻😻

Today we had our annual Thanksgiving lunch where we took the time to celebrate 🎊 our amazing staff. We are thankful for them every single day! Please take a moment to thank them for all they do 🎉🥳👏🏻

Our resident hospital cat Bully also got a Thanksgiving surprise 😮🐱
