Can you spot the target subject in the first image? What about the second image? I'm sure you can on the 3rd image. A white tailed deer. This was viewed 300 feet in the air while over 1000 feet away.
I've been seeing alot recently about "my buddy has a drone" while that may be true, not all UAVs are created equal. Our drone is equipped with an infrared sensor also known as a thermal camera. This gives us the ability to pick up your dog, horse, cow, livestock or other heat signatures for very far distances otherwise completely missed by the human eye.
You wouldn't take someone off the street to work on your plumbing would you? Hopefully you would go to a licensed plumber. Likewise these are Federally certified pilots as well as insured. The difference is, it takes a different breed in our line of work. You could be a amazing pilot, but not proficient at interpreting infrared readings. You could be a good hunter, but not a good pilot spacing out your gridlines too far which could possibly miss your desired target.
While it may appear simple to locate a heat sig, often times thats not always the case. As there is very very many false positives that can hold heat, field stones, bare patches of soil, stumps, dead limbs, AC units. It takes a very honed individual, you have to be a good pilot as well as a proficient hunter to interpret what you are looking at, as well as get an idea on animal behavior from wounds or other factors.
These drones are not available at best buy. This is a precision enterprise series instrument. They are the best in the industry. They don't take sick days or days off. They don't agree to the term "no" , this isn't a hobby, it's a commitment to find your missing loved one in nearly any conditions. 100% rainproof, wind proof up to 50 miles per hour, Ive gotten frostbite before I've said no, operates in -14°F to 122°F. A laser range finder capable of pinpointing your lost pet with GPS accuracy. We can livestream our rescue mission to boots on the ground or your phone anywhere in the world. These arent numbers on a brochure these are real world numbers I've pushed beyond their limits.
To me your dog, cat, cow, horse or other missing livestock or animals are not a dollar sign. It's a loved one needing their way back home. Thermal drones arent always the most optimal choice and i won't lie to you, I am upfront and honest. You can call me 24/7 anytime an I will view the terrain with satellite imagery to get a feel for the terrain. Based on this perhaps a thermal drone isn't the most viable option, maybe I suggest a tracking dog, or consulting with Lost Dogs of Wisconsin for a more suitable option. I have live traps free to use if that's what they suggest. As always I make this service no charge to the family for search and rescue operations with local fire departments and law enforcement agencies.
I live in Utica Wi, just outside Stoughton, this is a centralized location for dane, jefferson and rock counties. Feel free to call 24/7. Even if you are outside of our 60 mile service range, I can either go the extra mile or help assist you with another. I am apart of a larger group of qualified pilots across the state and would be happy to connect you with one closest you.
