How do we find ourselves at Giving Tuesday already? This is the time of year we try to build up our resources while we are still being hit with new babies. The spring and summer months always hit us hard - it is vital that we build back up over the colder months or we wont be able to do it all over again in the spring. That is where you - our community - come in - we depend on support so that we are able to take the kittens when you ask. We have taken in 740 babies off the streets and on to better lives just this year- with December still remaining. That is 740 babies that require round the clock care for a period of at least 8 weeks. On top of the time consuming care - we use lots of resources - formula, food, vaccines, spay/neuter, microchips, medications, heating pads, carriers and all daily supplies (bedding, cleaning products, bottles, syringes, baby wipes, trash bags, etc. On top of all of this, we use our resources to spay the moms if they can be found as to not keep adding the the problem.
The pictured babies are all currently in our care and look how far they’ve come. They will be ready for their new homes very soon.
