It's been an extremely busy month here and we just haven't had much time and energy left at the end of the long exhausting days to make post. Here are just a few of the many things that have happened this month with some updates of the amazing animals we have helped.

Jack- super sweet and a little shy has made a full recovery and is now with the groups of kittens under longer term medical care.

Saffron- sweet and a little sassy has made a full recovery and loves to hang out with Jack and the others

Barbosa- his leg doesn't hold him back and after he passed quarantine was put with the other long term kittens and will get surgery to remove the messed up leg once he is old enough.

Little foot and Magic- both are doing well and we continue to manage the symptoms of the Manx syndrome and will be in Sanctuary and cared for going forward

Doodle- completely recovered and is still learning to use the litter box as he seems to perfer his bathroom be in the middle of the walkway instead of a litter box. He came from an outside feral colony with a major ear infection.

Nugget-she is down to 2 bottle feedings per day and loves hanging out with the older kittens and adults that have adopter her as there little baby. She is still super small for her age and will take a little longer before she is placed for adopt.

The youngest bottle baby still needs her permanent name but has been nick named tiny nugget and is growing and thriving. She has been here since she was a day or 2 old and is now around 3 weeks

Roxie and Daisy got spayed and are now up for adoption

Duke got neutered on Tuesday and is seeking a foster home to learn basic manners. He is full of energy and needs alot of work still on basic training.

The guinea pigs are ready for adoption if anyone is looking to adopt a pair of male guinea pigs.

Patch finally got adopted!!!

These are just a few of the many things going on at the rescue and sanctuary. We have lots of animals that are in foster homes and some living on a farm for long term care because they aren't adoptable as family pets.

Donations are at an all time low and we have so many animals in rescue that need everyday essentials and basic care items. Please if you can help and send some donations our way it is greatly appreciated!!

Update on Roxie and Daisy

So we got the blood work back on Daisy and Roxie and due to possibility of pyometra which is an infection in the uterus we are doing the spay next week with our regular vet which is more expensive than the low cost clinics we normally use for spay and neuters. The spay has been deemed an emergency that can't wait until end of next month which was the first available at the lower cost clinic.

The estimate for spay is $900 for both females. We need to raise these funds and fast!!

Please donate if you can and share to reach more people!!!! We really need to raise this money to cover the cost. The rescue has been hit hard the last few weeks with expensive medical bills and this is just one more.

Meet Roxie, Duke, and Daisy! They came into our care due to abandonment. The person caring for them moved 4 hours away and left them tied to a tree to die. We are in the middle of a seriously nasty heat wave. Thanks to a very kinda person, we were notified about them.There is a nasty heat wave in our area. Animal control had been doing their best to get over there in the mornings for food and water checks. When we arrived to rescue the dogs, Duke's water was knocked over and dry. He had no access to water. Had they been left, they would have surcommed to a heat stroke. They have been to the vet for a checkup, and we are waiting on test results. We know Daisy has a flea allergy, causing her to lose most of her hair on her back. They were saved by the rescue. They are one of many getting a second chance at life! While they are safe, the rescue needs funds to help take care of them and their needs. Donate if you can, and if not, that's okay because a share like and follow helps get the word out to people.

Urgent help needed! We need an emergency foster or adopter for Duke.
He is a Plot hound mix that is 5 1/2yrs old and 65lbs
He is house broken, up to date on shots and neutered.
He does well at the groomers and does okay with other dogs with proper introduction.
He has been around older kids. We don't know how he is with cats.
He loves his bone and is crate trained but loves to snuggle on the couch and watch TV.

Update on the 3 dogs that we took in after the owner abandoned them and left them to die. They are doing good and went for their first vet appointment on Tuesday. The vet thinks the females are around 6 years old and the male is around 1 year. We are waiting on there blood work to come in but everyone is doing well. The vet said Roxy has a growth on her eye and needs a dental cleaning but other wise looked okay, Daisy has skin issues from fleas and lack of proper care and prevention but thinks the hair should grow back now she is getting the basic care essential they need. Duke is healthy. All three still have to get fixed and we are now gonna start booking appts for that once blood work comes back. We need to raise funds to cover there medical care so far and going forward. Tuesday cost us $377.55 Here are a few pics from Tuesdays vet trip!

It has been a long night but Jack has made it through major surgery and his first critical night. He is eating, drinking and using his litter box!! We still need to raise the funds to cover the cost of his medical care he has a long road over recovery ahead. Thank you to everyone for there prayer's and support!! Please if you can donate to help the rescue. Jack isn't the only one in our care and we desperately need funds to support the rescue and all the medical cost, food and other supplies we need for these animals. We need our village to help us !!
