You guys kept me busy today! Thank you so much for all of the recent support! Here’s an Eastern Worm snake (Carphophis amoenus) from a property inspection today. These guys are a fossorial snake that loves to be under ground. You can typically find them under rotten wood, stones, pine straw and leaf litter.

Not only do we save these magnificent animals from what would be a fatal predicament we also love to educate the community on how valuable these animals are! Copperheads not only keep rodent populations in check but they also have an enzyme in their venom that is used in breast cancer treatments.
