PSA: DOVE SEASON IS UPON US!

Dove season starts SEPTEMBER FIRST. Some gun shots maybe heard and there will be more traffic on valley than usually.

This happens every year. Everyone is pretty use to it but want everyone to be careful out there.

Having a barn full of older horses is hard. Nic is 31 and he is in great shape and no physical ailments but he is starting to lose his molars 🦷 😣 SO I have changed his diet to soaked feed and grain and he is flourishing! He is so happy to be able to eat again since the hay was giving him a hard time. MY job as a horse owner but also as a business owner is to give the horses in my care the best life. I treat my horses to the best of ability and also my boarders horses. Which includes:
Adjusting to all diets
Extra shavings if needed
Fly sheets:fly mask
Blankets
Rehabbing(medications, hand walking)
Turn out time
Soaked feeds
Fly spray twice a day
Lunging/conditioning
Treating wounds
AND so much more!

I’m here for the horses but also the owner.

Horses have my heart 💗
