Is your pet recovering from surgery? We've put together some easy aftercare steps to help them heal up right:

1) Medication: follow the dosing schedule, set alarms if it helps.
2) Incision: keep the area clean and dry. Check it daily for redness, swelling, or discharge. Make sure your pet does not have access to the incision site using a cone or spay suit if necessary.
3) Activity: no running or jumping until your veterinarian gives the okay. Keep bathroom breaks short and on a leash.
4) Food and water: smaller meal the first night, keep fresh water available.
5) Follow-up: come to all scheduled post-op check-ups so we can monitor their healing.

If you notice bleeding, vomiting, lethargy, or loss of appetite, call us right away at 860-684-5868. .

Many of our veterinary students are heading back to school, so we’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our evening team.

This is a part-time position:
• Monday–Friday
• 3:00–8:30 PM (fixed schedule)

We’re looking for someone with veterinary experience who is dependable, committed to these hours, and excited to grow with our team long-term.
