Maisie is another pup who has has issues with grooming in a traditional salon setting. She was definitely happy to see us again but she’s not so much a fan of grooming in general, especially feet stuff. That said, we make it as short and sweet as possible for her. She looks so cute when she’s done but she wants no part in the photos 😅

Milo here was a special groom that also came with some reconnection. It’s always such a pleasure to meet and groom someone’s pup that we personally know. 🙃

Milo took a little bit to ease into it but he eventually got comfortable. He is such a great pup and behaved so well for us. Quite the dapper looking pup he is all cleaned up. Great job Milo!! ☺️❤️

🐾 BIG NEWS — HOME GROOMING IS OFFICIALLY OPEN! 🏡✂️

Now that I’ve officially entered my third trimester, I’m starting to make a few changes around Snout & About as we prepare for baby boy’s arrival. 💙

Starting Wednesday, August 26th, I’ll officially be accepting my first home grooming appointments! 🎉

Home grooming will still be the same private, one-on-one, stress-free experience your pup is used to, the only difference is you’ll bring your pup to me! Grooming will still take place privately in my grooming bus, parked right at my home.

🏡 Why home grooming?
🐾 Same calm, one-on-one grooming experience
🐾 Drop your pup off & pick them up when they’re finished
🐾 $30 less than my regular mobile pricing
🐾 A great option for larger dogs or families outside my normal mobile service area

For now, I’m going to start by opening ONE home grooming day at a time and see how it goes!

🗓️ FIRST HOME GROOMING DAY:
Wednesday, August 26th

I’ll only be taking a limited number of pups that day, and once it fills, I’ll open another home grooming date! As we get closer to baby boy’s arrival, you’ll probably start seeing more home grooming days added to my schedule. 💙

And don't worry, mobile grooming isn't going anywhere just yet! I’ll continue coming to my mobile clients as I’m able while gradually adding more home appointments.

This new option will also make it possible for me to ease back into grooming after maternity leave while staying close to home and baby. 🥹🤎

Whiskey is a good ol’ boy that broke the previous record of most area covered with hair in the bus. Things definitely got hairy. This old fella wasn’t a fan of traditional salons because he cannot stand for very long. We let him do whatever he needs to do to be comfy in ours though, even if that means laying down for a bath. Whiskey really enjoyed the dryer hitting all those itchy spots and he was super happy when he was all cleaned up. Guess we know how to make a Whiskey neat. 😉

Hank and Charlie are two VERY excitable goldens. These two are quite the handful but definitely brought about many laughs and smiles. There was so much going on during this groom so the video is a bit longer. Hank has gorgeous golden eyes and Charlie thinks he is a lap dog. Both did very well and left looking very dapper.

Igneel had company on this groom. Amara joined him for his spa time. Igneel is seemingly obsessed with Amara so it made our jobs easier when all he cared about was her. 😍🤣

Tallula Belle has been busy this summer and all that activity helped her shed some weight. She was already looking great but a nice bath and brushing really made that coat shine. She’s such a pretty girl and as always we try to make our sessions short and sweet because we know she would rather be doing other things. Great job Talulla Belle!! ☺️❤️

Charlie here is a phenomenal groom dog. Such a well behaved boy and this was only his second time being groomed professionally! You wouldn’t be able to tell with how relaxed and laid back he is with everything. Plus he looks super cute when he’s all fancy! Great job Charlie!! ☺️❤️

Remi the Akita with tons of personality. This silly girl loves to sass especially for her feet. Luckily for us, we’re great at distractions and it helps that Remi also lives near a kitty community so she was super focused on this adorable feral orange kitten that couldn’t figure out why his tail kept following him. 🐱🤣
