Closing out foster Friday.

Winston is back with the rescue due to absolutely no fault of his own.

We are very grateful to his foster mom for welcoming him back

Here he sits on the couch with his foster sister who tells him there is a family out there who will love him like he deserves to be loved.

Please make sure you are ready for a dog before applying to adopt. They have feelings too.

Winston is a wonderful boy.
He does well with other dogs.

Everyone loves AL!

Al got an A+ from the professional training today!

Says I'm a dog's dog!
I'm a sweetheart
I'm super friendly
I'm good with dogs
I'm good with handling
I need some training
I'm vocal and a bit crazy
I love to play with toys
I can't catch a ball but I sure have fun trying.

I've been here since July. That's a very long time to live in a kennel because I love being with people.

Foster Friday!

Harvest is a beautiful gray brindle 2 year old pittie mix looking for a best friend that will give him structure and play ball!

This kid has soooo much love to give and thrives off having a routine and rules. He is crate trained and has never had an accident while in foster. His sore on his tail from "happy tail" is healing nicely.

He does get along with other dogs but tends to get overly excited and can be ramboucous. He is learning a lot and very eager to learn new things.

He does like to be with his people and can have a loud bark at times, but we are working on that and not jumping. This kid has so much potential and just needs a chance. He is going to make a heck of a best friend!

Tiger came to animal control as an owner surrender, and at first, he was a little scared. But underneath that shy exterior is a truly sweet boy who quickly warmed up to everyone.

He’s the kind of pup who smiles with joy when you open his kennel door. He was so eager for love and companionship.

Once outside, Tiger’s playful and energetic nature shines through.

A nice gentleman had just bought a house and wanted a best friend to share it with.

He met Tiger over the weekend and knew this little guy was the one. The one who would be is best buddy.

We know Tiger will have a life full of love, kindness, and adventure

This beautiful girl is Mocha, she arrived at animal control as a stray, scared and unsure of her new surroundings.

But with patience and a little time, her true personality began to shine through -sweet, endearing, and full of love.

A very nice lady came in today and met a couple different dogs, but it was Mocha who spoke to her heart.

Mocha gets a fresh start, filled with kindness, love, and endless cuddles.

This sweet little guy found himself in animal control due to unfortunate circumstances. He and his sister were lost out in the cold, but thankfully, they were found and brought to animal control.

Levi is a friendly, easy-going pup with a loving personality. We've all enjoyed spending time with him, and he's just a joy to be around!

A wonderful family came in to meet Levi, and after some quality time, they knew he was the perfect fit. Now, Levi has a loving forever home where he can run, explore, and use that incredible bloodhound nose.

He’s finally home, warm and loved—never to worry about being left out in the cold again.

Thank you for getting this sweet pup out of the shelter life and into a loving home.

Slim says thank you to everyone for your good wishes. He's doing pretty well, still getting syringe-fed by foster Dad. And he's quite fiesty for a 3 lb Chihuahua who just had surgery!❤️

"YAAY! Slim is in recovery. They pulled 12 teeth (He was already missing 25!), and that leaves him with 5 remaining. Thank you for all of the support and good vibes."

Please keep Slim in your thoughts today. He is heading in for his dental procedure.

This little cutie came into animal control as a skinny, frightened stray.

Leon was the sweetest little pup you could ever meet. Though he was a bit scared at first, it didn’t take long for his playful, loving personality to shine through.

We knew he’d thrive in a home environment, so we worked quickly to find him a foster family.

A wonderful family stepped up and offered to foster him—and during their time together, they completely fell in love.

Today, that amazing foster family officially became Leon’s forever family.

Thank you for fostering, adopting, and loving sweet Leon.

This beautiful girl is Lucy.

She is everything you’d expect an Australian Cattle Dog-also known as a Blue Heeler—to be: compact, energetic, highly intelligent. But she’s also incredibly sweet and playful.

Today, a very kind lady came in looking for a new best friend. She has had many dogs throughout her life, and her last companion passed away in June. She wasn’t sure she would ever get another dog, but after six months, the house felt too quiet without the presence of a furry family member.
When she walked into the shelter, Lucy immediately caught her eye. She took her time looking through all the kennels, but she kept coming back to Lucy. And Lucy, in her gentle way, walked right up to her. After spending some time together it was decided Lucy would be the newest member of her family.

Lucy now has a loving mom, a warm home, and a big fenced-in yard where she can run and play to her heart’s content.

Happy new life, sweet Lucy. You deserve the very best.

Her family dumped her out of their vehicle. They sped off as she ran after them.

We know that special person is out there somewhere. The person who will love her so much she will never remember a life before meeting them.
