RYD offers Puppy Aptitude Temperament Testing or the PATT for short.
During the PATT puppies are exposed to various stimuli & their responses are recorded. This gives you a snap shot into the puppy’s brain & their innate responses!🐾
Included with the PATT is a discussion of each puppy’s response, their score sheet for you to keep/share with their new homes, & assistance with home matching if applicable!😁
We offer Daycare Monday, Wednesday & Fridays!
Hours of operation are 7am-6pm.
All daycare dogs must :
- Pass a daycare assessment
- Be up to date on vaccines
- Be Spayed or Neutered
- Be 35lbs or larger
- Be at least 6 months old

Here at RYD we follow PATT (Puppy Aptitude Temperament Testing) protocols for testing your litters! After testing, you will get PATT scoring, notes & “puppy matching” to available/waitlist homes if applicable.
We recommend reaching out at the birth of your litter to ensure appropriate time for scheduling & ask that you specify your interest of temperament testing in your application!

Hi, Sydney here!
Relaxation on a signal is a valuable life skill, and one I love to teach!
Having a dog that knows how to relax in any given environment, even when they would rather not, is the first step to having a well behaved dog out in public.
Your dog knowing how to have appropriate down time is also extremely beneficial at home! I mean, how great would it be if everyone winded down for the night and your dog read the room and relaxed?
When you sign up for your initial assessment, please include in the notes that you are interested in Day Training with Sydney! Hope to see you soon 🐶

Our Mission
Contrary to popular belief, we train all types of dogs… not just pit bulls. 😉
Pit bulls are very special to me. I have several bully breed dogs of my own and have fostered many bully type dogs over the years.
I’ve spent years looking for ways to better communicate with our canine friends.
I have attended workshops and seminars all over the United States. I am thankful to have spent time and learned from some of the best-known dog trainers in the business. The learning process never stops.
Our goal and focus is to keep dogs in homes by helping people understand what makes their dog tick, how the dog thinks and what motivates/drives the dog to do what it does.
I have learned that there is not one training method, special tool, magical word, super strong kennel or extra tall fence that will fix the problems we have with our dogs.
With our training, we strive for the following:
Fixing the hole in the relationship between the owner and the dog
Finding a way to effectively communicate what we expect of our dogs
Giving the owners tools to help express the dog’s specific needs
Creating a plan that works with busy schedules
