This is Hoot!

Sydney has been working Hoot in our Day Training program. He has learned basic obedience, off leash control, game play, as well as a service for his owner!

Yesterday, Hoot got to check out the State Fairgrounds to practice his off leash work and down stays in a new environment. Good job Hoot!

Maverick went to his first AKC Scent Work trial yesterday earning placements ๐Ÿ† in all of his qualifying rounds for a great start on his Novice Title!

Just as importantly, he was able to quietly and patiently wait in line to search in close proximity to a lot of other dogs, many of whom were barking throughout the day. Huge win for Maverick and Laura!๐Ÿ‘ ๐ŸŽ‰

Beyond the ribbons, Scentwork is a key๐Ÿ”‘ to a ton a life skills and behavioral benefits, whether dogs are overly friendly, have too much energy and need a job, are fearful or reactive. And handlers and dogs get mental stimulation while enjoying themselves!โค๏ธ

We will be starting a ๐Ÿ†• Beginner/Intro to Nosework Session on Tuesday, June 9 at 6:45 PM.

Any dog ๐Ÿฉand handler can become a great team whether you want to compete or simply enjoy an enrichment activity you can do anytime anywhere!
