Custard came in for an emergency blood donation and—as always—handled it like a pro. From one visit, we were able to collect two units of PRBC and two units of plasma, now on their way to help a pup with IMHA who depends on repeat transfusions. 🩸🐾

Big thanks to Custard’s amazing mom for making it happen and supporting our program. We’re lucky to have both of them in our donor family!

Jack’s back at it again—saving lives, one donation at a time. 🩸❤️

During his recent visit, Jack donated enough blood to make two units of PRBC and one unit of plasma. These products will go on to help other pets in critical need right here in our community.

He handled it like a pro (as always), and we’re so thankful to Jack and his family for being part of our donor program.

Today we celebrated one of our most dedicated donor dogs Zivah, has she made her final donation and officially retired from the Animal Blood Bank of Arkansas. Over the years, Zivah donated 9 units of PRBC, 6 units of plasma, and 1,350 mL of blood, helping save countless lives across our region.

She aged gracefully out of the program, and as she left her last donation, our team gave her a standing ovation a small gesture to honor the huge impact she’s had.

We are so deeply grateful to Zivah and her incredible owners for their commitment to helping other pets in need. Her generosity and calm spirit have made a lasting mark on our community.

Enjoy your well-earned retirement, sweet girl you will always be a hero to us. ❤️

Your pet may be eligible if they:
✔️ Are 1–8 years old
✔️ Weigh over 9.5 lbs (cats) or 50 lbs (dogs)
✔️ Are spayed/neutered
✔️ Are up to date on vaccines
✔️ Are even-tempered
✔️ And most importantly… love treats (we pay in snacks, not cash) 🍖😄

🐾 Donor Monday: Meet Noelle! 🐾

Hi, I’m Noelle—a shy, snuggly love bug who enjoys lounging in the sun, cuddling with my mom, and chasing my fuzzy toys around the house. 💗

My story started when I was rescued at just 3 months old after being hit by a car. A kind stranger brought me into the emergency clinic where my mom worked—and she’s been my family ever since. 🏥🐾

After she saved my life, my mom found the perfect way for me to give back: becoming a feline blood donor. Now I help other kitties in crisis, just like I once was.

Because every cat deserves a second chance—and I’m proud to help make that happen. 🩸🐱
