Many owners worry about how donation might affect their pet — and we completely understand. 💙
At the Animal Blood Bank of Arkansas, your pet’s safety and comfort always come first.

Before joining our program, every pet goes through an application review, a phone screening, and a gentle temperament test to be sure they’re a great fit. 🐾 We also run yearly bloodwork to keep an eye on their health.

During donations, they get plenty of praise, reassurance, and treats along the way. 🍪

The process is not painful and will not harm your pet’s health — we’re with them every step of the way. 🩸💙

Our beautiful golden girl Audrey Vinson made her way into the clinic and generously donated 3 units of PRBC and 2 units of FFP! 💉💖 That’s five life-saving units that could make all the difference for critical patients in need. 🏥🐶

Audrey is not just a donor—she’s a HERO, helping our veterinary team be ready for the next emergency. Her calm, loving energy makes her a favorite every time she visits. 💕

We’re urgently looking for new feline donors to join the Animal Blood Bank of Arkansas program. The more donors we have, the farther we can help felines in need. ❤️

Aros’ story is extra special — he was once found wandering the streets of San Antonio, and now he’s paying it forward by helping other furry friends in need. 🐶✨
