We’re unveiling adorable (and slightly spicy 🌶️) TOE BEANS from a lineup of dogs and cats who are eager to help pets in need!

Dorothy has been a cherished part of the Spay Arkansas family since 2018.
Every week, she gives her time—and her heart—to caring for pets in recovery, offering comfort, compassion, and steady support during their healing.

Her reliability, kindness, and gentle spirit make her an irreplaceable part of our team.

Today, we want to thank Payton, who has been part of our Spay Arkansas family for over eight years.
She started by sweeping floors and helping in our food pantry, and over time trained to become a compassionate and skilled Recovery Tech.

But her kindness didn’t stop there.
Payton has used her birthdays and holidays to raise donations, and she even created her own Bully Fund to make sure pit bull–type dogs get the spay/neuter services and extra care they deserve.

Her dedication, passion, and love for animals inspire our entire team every single day.
We are deeply grateful for her — and for every volunteer who helps us serve pets and families across Arkansas.

🧡 Happy Thanksgiving Week to all our volunteers. We couldn’t do this without you.

We have some pallets behind the red shed if someone wants them. We will have pet food available tomorrow morning (11/25 At 10:30) for those that couldn’t make it last week. 😄

Meet Judi & Delores, two of our incredible heroes! 🧡🐾
For nearly 10 years, these amazing women have shown up with steady hands and big hearts — helping sterilize instruments, tackling laundry, and stepping in wherever they’re needed most.

Volunteers like them are the backbone of Spay Arkansas.
Their kindness, consistency, and love for animals make our mission possible every single day.

As part of our tradition, we will be closing during the week of Thanksgiving to allow our staff to spend time with their families. We will resume surgeries on December 2.

There will be a few team members available Tuesday 11/25, at 10:30 am to hand out dog and cat food for those in need. Amy will be checking messages and scheduling appointments on a limited basis.

So far this year, we have completed 5,207 surgeries and administered 7,436 vaccines. 🙌🏼
