There’s a very high chance your horse has thrush or white line disease right now, and you just don’t know.
Below is a hoof that is being treated for both thrush and white line, with some of our favorite products.
Here are some signs
• Discomfort when picking feet
• Strong odor coming from the hoof
• Discharge around the frog
• Deep cracks or crevices in the hoof
• Soft or ragged frog tissue
• Weak, cracked, or chipping hoof wall
• Cracks, flares, or a stretched white line
Both conditions can start subtly before obvious pain appears. It is crucial to provide daily hoof maintenance and regular farrier care.
Your horse’s feet tell you everything. Remember no hoof no horse.
