Familiar Feathers Parrot Trimming We are located in Spokane, WA and offer parrot trimming services. We charge 25 dollars per bird.

Boarding services are also available, rates depends on how many birds. Borna disease testing is required for boarding and I may also require PBFD test.

Jenday conure:
I have a foster Jenday conure looking for a new place!
Zevia is very confident and likes to be with you with whatever you are doing!
She is pretty handleable, though in her last home she had some very aggressive hormonal behavior and ended up attacking another bird.
Zevia would do really well with structure and boundaries and would do better in a 0-1 bird home.

We figured it was about time to post a chop recipe as it has been a while since we’ve done one!

This chop includes

Veggies: Zucchini, red and orange bell peppers, red chili peppers, broccoli, cauliflower, rainbow carrots, radishes, green beans, sugar snap peas, mustard greens, and corn.

Fruit: Blueberries (high in antioxidants)

Grains: cooked quinoa, and cooked brown rice

A good rule of thumb is to include one orange veggie (high in vitamin A which is a common deficiency), a leafy green (high in essential minerals), and a grain (high in fiber and healthy carbs)

We have 3 baby green cheek conures that are looking for new homes. They are all turquoise yellowsided and should be ready to go home here very shortly. They’ve been weaned onto a pellet diet of Harrison’s and roudybush. They absolutely love veggies and honestly prefer them over their pellets. I have been offering them seed in the evening since they are young still and can use the extra fat.

They’ve been raised fully flighted and definitely have the confidence from it. They’re very explorative and are still learning.

They will be at trims on Saturdays and sometimes Tuesdays for meet and greets.
