Lately, there have been far too many sweet pups crossing the Rainbow Bridge. 🌈🐾

Each one leaves an imprint on my heart, and every goodbye takes a little piece with them. While it never gets easier, I feel incredibly grateful to have been a small part of their lives : to love them, care for them, and spend time with them along the way 🩷

To all of the families grieving the loss of a beloved companion, my heart is with you. Thank you for trusting me with your babies and allowing me to share in their journey. They were so deeply loved, and they will never be forgotten. 🤍

Busy summer season is here and the dogs are keeping us BUSY 🐶☀️

We are officially booking grooming appointments into mid-June already! Thank you all so much for keeping us running full swing.

If your pup needs freshened up for summer adventures, vacations, swimming, or all that shedding season chaos, message us soon to grab a spot!

If you need summer boarding, please be planning ahead. We would hate to turn you down for being @ capacity!

Things another groomer might be afraid to tell you 🩷🐾

• One length difference in your dog’s haircut is probably not going to make them dramatically hotter or colder.🫣

• Your dog may have been difficult today… and that’s okay. Some of my favorite dogs started out as spicy little projects. I’m willing to work through the hard phases because I see the potential.🙌🏻

• Two groomers can do the “same haircut” and it’ll still look different. Grooming is part skill, part art, part dog cooperation level that day 🤷🏻‍♀️

• Some dogs just click better with certain people — and that doesn’t mean anyone did anything wrong.❣️

• Your dog acts different for us than they do for you.

• Matting happens faster than people think. Especially doodles. Especially after rain. Especially after swimming. Especially after wearing a harness for 3 days straight 😂

• Sometimes the shorter haircut was the kindest option, not the easiest one.

• Puppies are not born knowing how to stand still for sharp objects near their face. Early grooming appointments matter more than a “perfect haircut.” It’s like putting a kid in tball. They have to go to practice first before being shoved into a game. ⚾️

• Senior dogs often need comfort over perfection.🥹

• Your dog does not care if their eyebrows are perfectly symmetrical. Chances are most of the time your dog holds their head crooked the entire time 🤣

• We can usually tell when you brushed your dog right before the appointment 😂

• A “bad” grooming day doesn’t mean your dog is a bad dog. Chances are there were too many distractions going on ☺️

•Your dogs haircut is not the end of the world, I promise there’s way bigger things in this life. The hair will grow back!

• Most groomers genuinely love your pets like tiny chaotic coworkers & they each bring their own personality to the table 💛

Update!
After much consideration, we have found a way that will benefit us running the shop as well as your pups -

We’ll be closing for 4 days each quarter—and here’s why it’s actually a big benefit for your pup 🐾

✨ During this time, we go beyond daily cleaning with a full deep sanitation of the entire facility—helping reduce bacteria, & viruses. Especially those hard to reach places!

🔧 This time allows us to complete maintenance and repairs, keeping everything safe, secure, and comfortable. Looking at everything as a whole, seeing where we need to pivot.

🐶 A refreshed, reset environment means less stress and a calmer experience for all dogs & staff

🦠 Routine closures help break potential illness cycles, supporting your pet’s overall health.

🔍 We perform detailed safety inspections on all gates, play areas, and equipment to ensure everything meets our standards.

💛 This also allows our team a much-needed mental and physical break so we can come back fully refreshed and ready to give your pets our best.

We know this may be inconvenient for some with specific dates, but we hope planning ahead of time & seeing the benefits will help alleviate that frustration.

Eight years… wow. 🤎

What started as a small dream has grown into something I’m so incredibly proud of. Through the long days, the challenges, the growth, and all the amazing moments in between—this journey has been nothing short of a blessing.

To every single person who has supported my business, trusted me, referred me, encouraged me, and stuck with me over the years… thank you. You are the reason I get to keep doing what I love every day.

Here’s to 8 years of hard work, growth, gratitude, and lots of dog hair—and more years to come. 🐾✨
