✂️GROOMING DOG OF THE WEEK🛁

This handsome, young, Westie is Chip and he is our Grooming Dog Of The Week!

Chip had his first groom with us, at 6 months old, in February of 2024 and he's been bringing us that classic, Westie sass (which we absolutely love), ever since. Chip and his sister, Beretta, come visit Alexis 2 - 3 times a year for a much deserved spa day.

A Few Facts About Westies:

* They were first recorded between 1567 and 1625, but the term "West Highland Terrier" was published for the first time in 1908.

* They are born to burrow and used to flush out game hidden underground and their big bark is very helpful for their owner to be able to hear them when they are burrowing underground. They have also been bred with a very sturdy tail that the owner can use to pull them from holes if they cannot get themselves out.

* They have been described as having endless energy, so 2 hours of exercise, per day, is recommended for these playful, fun loving pups.
