Good morning!
It’s bittersweet to announce that I have officially closed my business. As some of you know, I’m currently an active-duty soldier in the Army, and this year, it’s time for me to move again. I had hoped to stay here longer, but things didn’t work out that way.
For those looking for high-quality skull mounts, I highly recommend Dalton at Ash River Taxidermy . He’s an excellent taxidermist who offers more than just skull mounts, so be sure to check out his page and consider him for your taxidermy needs.
I truly appreciate everyone in Wisconsin who trusted me with their harvested animals. It’s been an honor to clean, degrease, and whiten skulls to help preserve your hunting memories. A special thank you to those who helped spread the word about my business outside of Sparta and Tomah—I’m incredibly grateful for your support.
I am grateful to Cody with Hot Mess European Mounts for providing some business insight and his tips for producing better skull mounts as time went along!
Thank you to Lee at The Meat Shop, LLC for throwing me right into mounting that bison! That really gave me the confidence to work on steer mounts afterwards!
To the entire Sparta Rod & Gun Club, thank you for the opportunity to showcase my work as well as the recommendations!
While I’m closing shop for now, I plan to keep doing skull mounts and turkey/pheasant fan mounts as a hobby once my family and I settle into our new location. Looking ahead, I hope to reopen my business after I retire from the Army, and by then, I should be adding other types of taxidermy to my services.
Again, thank you all for your support—I couldn’t have done this without you!
