We are so excited to announce the addition of Dr. Carla Gutierrez to our team!!

Dr. Carla Gutierrez earned her undergraduate degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2016 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. She grew up in northern Virginia and is a recent transplant to Somerset, Pennsylvania.

Professionally, Dr. Carla has a special interest in reproduction, herd health management, and preventative medicine. She is passionate about educating clients and students, as well as being involved in the community.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Gutierrez enjoys crafting and fiber arts. She is currently focusing on cross-stitch, crochet, and “junk journaling”. She also loves hiking and other outdoor activities; as such, she is excited to explore the beauty of the Laurel Highlands!e

🚨2025 Rabies Clinics🚨
Our staff will be providing veterinary care at 2 rabies clinics this spring!

1️⃣. Saturday April 26th, 11:00 am- 12:00 pm.
Location: Confluence Community Center

2️⃣. Saturday May 17th, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm.
Location: Memorial Highway Chevrolet SOMERSET location.

Cost is $15 a pet.

Please have pets leashed or in carriers.

‼️To obtain a 3 year rabies certificate, we must have a certificate of previous rabies vaccination.
