We want to take a minute to congratulate and recognize Dr. Ashley Maust on a few outstanding achievements! She’s been an amazing doctor here at AMC for the last 5 years and became co-owner of AMC with Dr. Svonavec in 2025!!!!! Yay!! 👏🏻

Dr. Ashley began working at AMC as an assistant in 2012 and has worked tirelessly under Dr. Vince’s mentorship since then! Her formal education includes the University of Pittsburgh (BS) and the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine (DVM). She has incorporated exceptional care in anesthesia, soft tissue surgery, and dentistry within our practice!

Dr. Vince personally selected her as his junior partner and legacy for the practice. Dr. Svonavec founded AMC back in 1992 and he knows Dr. Maust will continue to provide the highest level of care throughout the next 30 years. Congratulations and keep working hard for our patients, Dr. Maust!! 🐾❤️

As a reminder, I do not do emergency calls for at home euthanasia. It is by scheduled appointment only.

I get to help animals & their families just about everyday, including today.. Crossing rainbow bridge in the peace and comfort of their own home is such a blessing, but with each euthanasia I get to perform, I also get to hug my baby after - I appreciate just how special that bond is.
I feel so deeply for families who lose their fur baby and I just know I’m making a difference in the work I get to do 💗

It’s been about a year since I started Compassions. I am so honored to have helped dozens of pets cross rainbow bridge in the peace and comfort of their homes surrounded by loved ones. I will remember all of them 💗🌈🐶🐱
