Meet Belle, one of our tiniest patients yet- a precious pup that may be small in stature but her presence is larger than life. From the moment Belle entered Integrative Medicine, we knew she was something special.

Belle helps to remind us all that true strength comes from within, and that even the tiniest beings can make the biggest impact.

Meet our Resident Paw-some Personality!

Hey friends! Today, we want to introduce you to the star of our building, the one and only Roxy! This adorable furball isn’t just a pet- she’s a force of nature, making her presence known as soon as she walks through the doors.

From the moment Roxy enters, you can feel her energy lightening up the space. She makes sure everyone knows she’s arrived.

But Roxy isn’t just about making a grand entrance - she’s also a master of spreading joy and happiness wherever she goes. Her infectious spirit and boundless love have a way of brightening even the gloomiest of days.

DM is a difficult diagnosis, but Archemiedes has shown incredible resilience and strength in the face of this condition. Despite the physical limitations it may bring, Archemiedes continues to approach each day with a wagging tail and unwavering spirit.

Meet the Incredible Team Behind Pilchuck Integrative Medicine

Hey Everyone! We wanted to take a moment to shine the spotlight on one of the amazing individuals who make Integrative Medicine the special place it is. Without further ado, let’s meet Carly, the IM customer service representative and team lead!

Carly is a Washington transplant, being born and raised in American Fork, Utah. She worked as a customer service representative for a small animal mixed practice for 7 years before coming to work at Pilchuck. Carly started out in the Small Animal ER department before she moved over to Integrative Medicine. Carly loves being part of IM because she values the close relationships that she is able to make with our clients as well as with our patients.

In her spare time, Carly does all kinds of crafting and she and her husband often go car camping.

Carly has 3 furry friends at home: Clementine, a shih tzu mix, and kitties Blackberry and Brambles.

Meet our beloved furry friend, Gunner, the Ultimate Ladies' Man!

You know how some pups dread the vet? Not Gunner! This charming canine extraordinaire struts into the veterinary hospital like he owns the place, tail wagging with enthusiasm and eyes twinkling with excitement. But what's his secret agenda, you ask? Well, it's no mystery—Gunner's on a mission for his favorite indulgence: butt scratches from the lovely ladies of the clinic!

It's like clockwork—Gunner makes a beeline for the reception area, where the wonderful staff eagerly await his arrival. And let me tell you, this pup knows how to work his magic! With a wag of his tail and those irresistible puppy-dog eyes, he has the ladies wrapped around his paw in no time.

Clementine recently had a chiropractic adjustment with Dr. McKaig!

River is the little dog who could! River first saw us in August of 2023 for Swimmer’s Syndrome. Swimmer’s Syndrome is a rare developmental deformity of newborn dogs where the hind limbs splay laterally. These animals usually cannot stand or walk and use their hind limbs to push themselves forward in a swimmer-like manner, hence the name Swimmer’s Syndrome.

River was placed on an intensive physical therapy regime and received treatments at our Integrative Medicine department including acupuncture, underwater treadmill therapy, and chiropractic care. She is an incredible patient who progressed in leaps and bounds. Soon she was standing, then walking, then running! You can hardly tell today how River started life.
