Look who finished her first set of lessons! Vada has come a long way! She has an amazing foundation in her basic obedience, and her owners have shown amazing commitment to her training. That’s so very important with high drive dogs!! Vada can still be a handful, and that’s fine! Puppies are allowed to puppy! Further training is also being arranged. Never stop challenging yourself. Your dog and your trainer will thank you! 🤪❤️❤️❤️

When the puppy falls asleep during nail trims you know her owners have been putting in the work! This is Vada. Yes, THAT Vada! Of the endless energy and mischief! 😂😂 Her daddy has been working hard on having her relax on her back in his lap and it shows. They have been desensitizing her paws with an old shaver to get her used to something buzzing around her paws and now nail trims are a breeze. The pup will always tell me if the owners are putting the work!!!!

Koda is gorgeous, isn’t he??? He’s about two and a half years old. He’s pit bull and Cattle Dog. He’s a sweet boy - until he isn’t. And that’s when he’s a scary boy. Once he decides you’re ok, he’s very sweet and loving. Until food appears. This boy has been known to guard his food for 18 hours without letting anyone near it. This is causing a lot of stress in the home, as you might imagine. In our consult I recommended a month of training. Then continuing training after he’s home to help him make better decisions. His owners are still discussing it, but I wanted to show you this handsome prince!

Oh my goodness! 😍😍 Yep, Cody had his first lesson and he’s every bit as cute as he looks! His owner has already started basic training with him, but this puppy stage is new, so we tackled the fun stuff like jumping and biting. And tips for training the “down” command. We’re all looking forward to next week’s lesson!

I don’t often take photos of just my girls. So here they are! L to R: Anya, Stella, and Daisy

Anya is four years old and is an Anatolian shepherd mix. She’s my babysitter and entertainer when I have big dogs because she’s so gentle and nothing upsets her!

Stella is five years old and some sort of pit mix. She is extremely toy driven and LOVES to play in the water! She doesn’t care about other dogs and is happy to join in the fun out go do her own thing.

Daisy is two years old and is my heart dog. Best guess on breed is malinois and lab. She serves as a stability and PTSD dog, and loves to play. She doesn’t care for dogs in her face or sudden loud noises. She’s really good in public and often demonstrates manners for training dogs.

So that’s my three girls! ❤️❤️❤️

Casper finished his lessons this week! He did a great job! He got to deal with some kid and puppy distractions today, and got to where he could walk on by. Very proud of this boy! He’s trying to work up to busier environments so he may return to do another set of lessons or board & train. Stay tuned…..
