The day before Thanksgiving, a Good Samaritan brought a large female Pyrenees mix to us after witnessing her being struck by a vehicle.
She is white with large black spots and a speckled face. There was also a white Great Pyrenees seen near her at the time, though we are unsure if they were together.

Unfortunately, she did not survive the accident.

The incident occurred on N 52nd W Ave just north of W 95th St N.

If you believe this may be your dog, please contact us. If you are able to provide a photo, we can make a confirmation quickly and respectfully.

Our hearts go out to anyone who may be missing their pet.

We had our Thanksgiving potluck yesterday, where we enjoyed great food and each other’s company. This year was extra special, we were joined by the Albin Veterinary Hospital Team!!!

Thanksgiving is all about good food and gratitude, but some household favorites aren’t safe for pets.

🚫 Do not share: turkey bones, onions, garlic, grapes/raisins, chocolate, ham/ham bones, gravy, alcohol, and rich or fatty foods. Also, keep an eye out for any products containing xylitol!

✅ Safer treats: a small taste of plain turkey (no skin, no seasoning) or plain veggies like green beans and carrots (no seasoning, butter, onions or garlic).
