I'm Ear-resistible👂

I can't decide what cool story I should tell adopters about my ear.

My shelter friends say I should go with the classic bar fight story.

I was thinking something more exciting.

Maybe I fought off a bear.

Maybe a shark.

Maybe I was injured during a top-secret mission while saving the world.

The truth?

I made a bad judgment call.

I thought another dog wanted to be my friend.

Turns out... they did not.

And that's how I ended up missing part of my ear.

Since then, I've had surgery, stitches, and the most embarrassing cone in canine history.

Apparently nobody was interested in adopting the bandaged dog wearing a giant plastic lampshade, so I waited.

And waited.

The physical part healed.

The mental part didn't.

The cone is gone, but I'm still struggling.

I'm spinning in my kennel, crying out, and bouncing off the walls.

But that's not who I am.

I'm the dog who loves making friends.

The dog who tunnels between your legs for attention.

The dog who looks over his shoulder asking for more butt scratches.

I'm moderately athletic, which is a fancy way of saying I jiggly jog.

I love attention, affection, and being loved.

Shelter life is tough right now, but I know who I am outside these walls.

I just need someone to give me that chance.

🐾 Generosity in Action 🐾

A huge thank you to Black Hills Federal Credit Union for supporting shelter pets through Raising Rescues and their annual pet supply drive!

Their employee-led giving program raised $1,300 from across the state, along with much-needed pet food and supplies for the animals in our care.

Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and commitment to helping animals in need. 💙

🎵 There was a cat who needed love,
And Bingo was his name-o! 🎵

Bingo may not be the type to jump into your lap on day one, but give him time and he'll show you his sweet side.

If you turn on some bird videos, you'll get his full attention! When he's not busy "hunting" feathered friends on TV, Bingo enjoys being a homebody and spending his days lounging, playing, and relaxing.

Check out Wild Water West Waterpark and Flamingo Falls Campground every Monday!

After 4 PM, bring a pet food donation, toy, or other pet supply and receive discounted admission.

We can't wait to see our community come together for shelter pets! 💙

YES! It's Monday and you know what that means, right? It's MUTTY MONDAY here at the park! It's our favorite day because it's a brand new week, new adventures, and of course, we get to help out the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society with our evening deal!

AFTER 4 PM today, if you bring a pet food item, or a pet toy or anything that can help out our furry friends, we discount your tickets! Isn't that exciting? So not only do you get a GREAT deal, but you also get to help out our furry friends who can't speak for themselves!
