🐾🖤 Double the Bostons, double the fun! 🖤🐾

This morning, we had the pleasure of meeting two adorable new Boston Terrier puppies, Clay and Lacy, during their visit with Dr. Luke! 🐶🐶✨

These sweet siblings arrived feeling a little shy and unsure about all the new sights, sounds, and people. But it didn’t take long for them to discover one very important fact about our clinic… we come equipped with treats! 🍪😂

After a few tasty snacks and plenty of gentle attention, Clay and Lacy started to come out of their shells and show us their precious personalities. 💕 From their adorable wrinkly faces to those curious puppy eyes, our team was completely smitten.

We’re so excited to watch these little cuties grow and can’t wait to see them again for future visits! 🐾❤️

📸 Warning: Viewing photos of Clay and Lacy may cause sudden urges to adopt a Boston Terrier. 😍😂

New Service Spotlight: CardioPet ECG Screening!
We are excited to introduce a new tool to keep your pets safe: CardioPet ECG Screening.

Meet sweet PD, one of the first patients to benefit from it!

PD recently came in for a dental procedure. During his pre-surgical exam, Dr. Hansen detected a new heart arrhythmia. Because PD gets anxious at the vet, we used calming pre-medications to keep him relaxed. As you can see in the video, he was completely calm and comfortable during his screening!

📊 How CardioPet helped PD:
•Cardiologist Review: PD’s ECG was sent to a veterinary cardiologist for interpretation.
•Tailored Safety: The results identified a specific arrhythmia, allowing us to build a customized, heart-safe anesthetic protocol just for him.
•Peace of Mind: It provided extra reassurance for both our medical team and PD’s family.

❓ What is an ECG? An ECG measures the heart's electrical activity to catch hidden rhythm issues. It’s incredibly valuable for senior pets, breeds prone to heart disease, or patients undergoing anesthesia. (Note: This service is patient-dependent; our team will help determine if it’s right for your pet!)

We are so thankful we could provide this extra layer of safety for PD! ❤️

📸🐶 Behind the scenes of puppy photo shoots be like… 247 blurry pictures, 16 snack breaks, 4 attempts to sit still, and one camera roll completely taken over by puppy chaos. 😂💛

Sweet little Brady came in yesterday for his very first puppy visit, and let’s just say… modeling was NOT on his list of priorities. Between the wiggles, zoomies, curious sniffing, and trying to investigate every corner of the room, getting a “good” picture became a full team effort. 📷✨

But honestly… when you’re this cute, every single photo is a keeper. 🥹🐾 We absolutely could not get enough of Brady and all his puppy energy yesterday. Safe to say he already has the staff wrapped around his tiny paws. 💕

Swipe to see the reality of puppy photography versus the final masterpiece. 😂🐶

Bash stopped by for his annual wellness visit and clearly understood the assignment… soak up ALL the attention possible. 🐾💙✨

From tail wags 🐕 to charm overload 😍, this handsome boy made sure every team member gave him the proper amount of love, belly rubs, and admiration before continuing with his appointment. 🩺🐾💕

Naturally, he also insisted on pausing for a quick photo op because being this cute should absolutely be documented. 📸✨😎🐶

We’re happy to report Bash was an excellent patient ⭐ and left with plenty of treats 🍪, compliments 🥰, and extra snuggles added to his medical chart. 😂💙🐾

🦷✨ CASE OF THE WEEK ✨🦷

Last week, handsome cattle dog Copper stopped by to see Dr. Verdin after breaking one of his back teeth. While fractured teeth may not always look dramatic from the outside, they can be incredibly painful and can quickly lead to infection if left untreated.

The good news? Copper was an absolute rockstar patient ⭐ Dr. Verdin safely removed the damaged tooth, and Copper recovered wonderfully afterward. He’s already back to feeling much more comfortable and ready to get back to his important cattle dog duties. 🐾

Be sure to check out the dental x-rays along with the before-and-after photos below. The x-rays help us see just how much is happening beneath the gumline that we can’t always spot with the naked eye.

🦷 Why oral exams matter:
• Fractured teeth can hide pain surprisingly well
• Dental disease can affect overall health
• Early detection helps prevent bigger problems later
• Regular exams and dental x-rays allow us to catch issues before they become severe

Many pets continue eating and acting normal even with painful dental problems, which is why routine oral exams are such an important part of preventive care.

Copper did amazing, and we were so happy to help get that painful tooth out of there! 💙🐶

🚨🎨🐶 Case of the Missing Art Supplies & Snack Thieves 🐶🎨🚨

Meet Coco and Chili — two adorable puppies who apparently decided that snack time and arts & crafts should happen simultaneously. 😅

After sneaking some raisins from their tiny humans at home, these mischievous pups made a quick trip to see us so we could safely get those forbidden snacks back out. But the raisins weren’t the only surprise hiding in those puppy tummies… 👀

Also recovered:
🖍️ Colored pencils
🌈 Stickers
🤦‍♀️ Questionable life choices

We’re still waiting to hear if they were planning to open their own art studio or just redecorate from the inside out. 🎨😂

Thankfully, both Coco and Chili did amazing, got all cleaned out, and are already back home causing harmless chaos where they belong. 💕🐾

Friendly reminder: raisins and grapes can be very dangerous for dogs, so if your pup gets into them, contact your veterinarian right away! And maybe keep the art supplies a little higher up too. 😅

Warning: Extreme fluff overload has entered the building 🚨🐾

Everyone meet Elvi, who came in for her very first puppy visit today! Between her not so tiny paws, sweet puppy face, and all that fluffiness, our team members could barely get any work done because they were too busy soaking up the cuteness. 💕🐶

We already know this little girl is going to grow into a beautiful big pup, and we absolutely cannot wait to watch her grow every step of the way. Although if we’re being honest… we’d be perfectly happy if she stayed this tiny forever. 🥹✨

Welcome to the family, Elvi! 🐾

👑✨ All rise for His Royal Floofness, Yuki, who graced us with his majestic presence this afternoon for a check-up with Dr. Parham. ✨👑

Yuki arrived with the confidence of a cat who absolutely knows he pays everyone’s salary around here. 😼 Between his luxurious fluff, piercing stare, and demand for premium chin scratches, he kept the entire staff properly entertained while Dr. Parham gave him the royal once-over. 🩺🐾

Thankfully, Yuki allowed the examination to continue as long as the chin scratches remained uninterrupted. A fair compromise, honestly. 😂

10/10 patient.
12/10 attitude.
Infinity/10 majestic. 🐱💅

✨🐾 Last week we had the absolute pleasure of spending some quality time with sweet Jade during her annual wellness visit at our Simpsonville office! 💕

She came in ready for her checkup, but mostly focused on soaking up all the attention, snuggles, and compliments from the staff. We’re pretty sure she thinks the hospital is just a VIP hangout spot created especially for her… and honestly, she may not be wrong. 😄🐶

Jade was such a wonderful patient and kept everyone smiling the entire visit. Thank you for coming to see us, pretty girl — we already can’t wait for your next adventure at the office! 🩺✨💖
