If you stopped in last week, you may have noticed we had some really great Memorial Day themed raffle items! Since they hadn’t been posted in the feed, we decided to let them go an extra week so the drawing will be THIS coming Saturday! These items are still great for your summer parties, picnics, and Fourth of July celebrations! 🇺🇸

Last week we received a desperate call for help. Ceniza had been dealing with chronic urinary blockages for months with no improvement and the owner had already put thousands into his care. He ultimately needed PU surgery, (Perineal Urethrostomy), a procedure that could offer a permanent solution and also save his life. We worked with the primary vet to get Ceniza referred to Oak Knoll Animal Hospital
so that the cat could receive the necessary surgery. We got an update today from the owner that he is recovering and doing well, although not the biggest fan of the cone! As always, thank you for helping us to save deserving pets like Ceniza, who should be able to continue living his best life now! ❤️

In the past week, we’ve helped cover the costs of TWO pyometra surgeries! This is a surgery that is life-threatening BUT so preventable!
Pyometra is a severe bacterial infection of the uterus that can happen in unspayed female dogs and cats. It causes the uterus to fill with pus and typically occurs soon after a heat cycle. It is a condition that requires immediate surgery. This is a very costly surgery, but it is lifesaving! The good news? Spaying your pets will prevent this from happening. If funds are an issue, there are several low cost options locally. Plus, the cost of a spay is a lot less than the cost of a pyometra surgery.
The pics posted here are from one of the surgeries we helped with. This is the uterus of an infected cat whose life we were able to help save!

After being examined today, it was determined that Seraphim did not need a surgical procedure on her eye! She stopped in to donate her remaining GoFundMe balance of $100 that wasn’t needed for her medical expenses!

We’re so happy for this girl and so appreciative of the donation!

We will continue to follow along on her journey, in case any other needs arise!
