If you haven’t seen yet, we’ve been lucky enough to be selected as the Necker's Jewelers charity for the month of August. What this means is that for every purchase made during the month of August, we will receive a portion of the sale.

We are truly blessed that every single time we get to a point where it feels like we can’t continue to say “yes” to every deserving case that comes our way or like we can’t dig ourselves out from under all the vet bills piling up, something truly amazing happens!

Today that came in the form of a $5,000 donation from Ruff Life Dog Rescue of Illowa!

We are so humbled and so grateful!
Thank you for the work you do and for supporting our mission! 🐾

Some days and weeks can be more difficult than others and this week has been a really tough one! We’ve received an especially overwhelming amount of requests for assistance and committed so much of our resources to these cases and had some not so great outcomes.

Today we had at least one happy story to share though! After Maverick’s mom found herself in a very difficult and unexpected living situation this morning, Maverick jumped out of the car after seeing something he wanted to go after! He suffered some minor injuries but definitely needed some medical assistance.

Glenroads Veterinary Clinic was able to get him in immediately, get him checked out, get his vaccinations updated, and gave him a place to hang out and play all day! After assisting the owner find some pet friendly hotel options, they sent Maverick with some pain meds!

We are so grateful that we could help this boy and we are so grateful for vet partners like Glenroads that are willing to take on last-minute cases and go above and beyond to help out! We know Maverick appreciated it too! 😉
