Grooming Salon Policies
1. Health and Safety
• Vaccinations: All pets must be current on their vaccinations, including rabies, distemper, and bordetella. Proof of vaccination is required prior to the grooming session.
• Fleas and Ticks: Pets with fleas or ticks will be treated at the owner’s expense before grooming. Severe infestations may require rescheduling.
• Health Conditions: Please inform us of any health conditions your pet may have. We will not groom pets with contagious illnesses or those that are severely ill or injured.
• Open Wounds: Dogs with open wounds will be refused service for their safety and the safety of others.
2. Appointment Policies
• Cancellations and Rescheduling: Canceling or rescheduling appointments must be done at least 24 hours in advance. A $50 cancellation fee will apply for changes made with less than 24 hours’ notice.
• Late Arrivals: Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to reschedule, and a late fee could be charged.
• Emergency Closures: In case of emergency closures due to weather or other unforeseen events, we will notify clients as soon as possible to reschedule appointments.
3. Grooming Services
• Pet Behavior: If your pet has a history of aggressive behavior, please let us know in advance. We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet poses a safety risk.
• Grooming Process: We strive to ensure your pet has a comfortable grooming experience. If your pet becomes overly stressed, we may pause or stop the grooming session for their well-being.
4. Payment and Pricing
• Pricing: Pricing is based on the breed, size, condition of the coat, and the services requested. An estimate will be provided at the time of booking.
• Payment: Payments are due at the time of service. We accept cash, checks, Venmo, and credit/debit cards.
• Credit/Debit Card Transactions: A 3% fee will be added to all payments made by card.
• No Charge for Cash, Check, or Venmo: No additional fee will apply for payments made by cash, check, or Venmo.
• Tips: Tipping is appreciated but not required. Clients are welcome to leave a tip for exceptional service.
5. Salon Conduct
• Owner’s Responsibility: Pet owners are responsible for their dogs before and after grooming. Dogs should be picked up promptly after grooming is completed.
• Salon Hours: Our salon operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays. Appointments outside of regular business hours are available upon request.
• Respectful Environment: We maintain a welcoming, safe, and respectful environment for both pets and owners. Disruptive or inappropriate behavior by owners may result in the termination of services.
6. Privacy
• Client Information: We respect the privacy of our clients. Your pet’s information is kept confidential and will not be shared without your consent.
7. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
• No-Show Fee: If you fail to show up for your appointment without prior notice, a $50 no-show fee will be charged.
