This is why microchiping is so important. We had not one but two dogs that were found and we were able to get in touch with the owner. Bonnie was reunited with her family π Give us a call for information on how to get your pet a microchip.

In 1993, a young veterinarian had a vision. He wanted to bring high quality, compassionate, state of the art, affordable, veterinary care to his home town. So he searched for a location. He found an old garage on Main St. and he transformed it into a full service veterinary hospital, grooming and boarding facility. On March 27th 1994 Dr. Stephen Williams hosted his grand opening. Complete with 1990 Miss America, Dr. Debbye Turner DVM, family and friends, a grand ribbon cutting ceremony was held. April 1st he began his practice with one technician, one groomer, one kennel worker and one receptionist, Linda Hartzog, who is still with AHC. The facility had two exam rooms, a drive through window, 6 runs and about 20 cages.
Over the years Dr. Williams has grown and expanded the practice. The building got an upgrade to make room for a second doctor, a groomer, four receptionists, four technicians, an office manager and seven kennel worker. The boarding facility has grown to 36 cages and 31 runs.
We are passionate about healthy pets. That is why we provide the best veterinary care possible. From top of the line vaccinations, to the newest and best prevention for heartworms, we know that βan ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.β But when your four legged family member does get sick, we have on site blood chemistry, digital x-rays, surgical laser and have recently added a CT machine. Dr. Williams is a skilled surgeon and does orthopedic surgery as well as cataract surgery. Our services also include OFA certification, micro-chipping and therapy laser. Dr. Williams takes care of dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets (guinea pigs, hamsters, ect..), reptiles and some exotics.
We know that what you put into your pet will determine how healthy it will be. Therefore we carry only the highest quality foods. We carry both Hillβs Science diet and Royal Canine foods for dogs and cats as well as Canidae food for dogs.
In January of 2018, Dr. Shane Voshage joined the practice. He has been a valuable addition to the Animal Health Center.
