🚨📣PSA: Nancy J. Brua Animal Care Center to offer rabies clinic as cases rise in Cochise County
💉Residents can sign up for a rabies clinic at the shelter on Thursday, Sept. 12, beginning at 10 a.m. For $10, the shelter will provide a rabies vaccine and a microchip (if needed). The clinic will take place on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. Only 50 spots are available. Sign up is on a first come, first served basis. This clinic is for residents from Sierra Vista and the surrounding area.
The shelter would also like to warn residents that rabies cases are on the rise in Sierra Vista and the surrounding area. Recently, a Hereford resident was bitten by a rabid skunk. If bitten by a rabid animal, please report it to Animal Control Officers and seek immediate medical attention.
