Who do you call when you need a dental hygienist, anesthesiologist, lab technician, phlebotomist, and cat wrangler all in one? A vet tech, of course! And that's just scratching the surface of all the amazing things vet techs can do.

Join us in wishing a very happy National Veterinary Technician Week to our incredible team of vet techs!

Today is Pet Obesity Awareness Day, and while a little bit of Extra Chonk does make for a cute cat, we don't want it to get out of hand! Obesity in cats can lead to health issues like Diabetes, increased risk of urinary tract infection, worsening arthritis, grooming problems, and puts them at higher risk of developing Hepatic Lipidosis (AKA Fatty Liver) if they suddenly stop eating. Not sure where your cat falls on the Chonk Chart? Be sure to ask your vet about it at their next visit and see if you need to take steps to help get them to a better weight!

Today is World Mental Health Day. Those of us with cats know the amazing impact they have on our mental health - but this isn't just a theory! From reducing anxiety to improving blood pressure, pets help our health in amazing ways.

Our furry friends can be great companions. But did you know that owning a pet has many health benefits? See how they can help your physical and mental health.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Elliot will now be going by Dr. Sorey!

Dr. Sorey couldn't take a break from cats even on her wedding day! Her and her husband's cats - Wrigley, Dot, and Bruce - along with their dog, Phinney, were all a part of the big day last year. Congratulations, Dr. Sorey!

Don't worry - Dr. Mahoney and Dr. Elliot will still be seeing patients at Cats Exclusive on a regular basis and are here to support your kitties through all walks of life!
